Fun Post: Ayodhya's slip of the tongue

Ayodhya was gently rubbing Gulkand's feet and wondering how to keep her away from the Prasad haveli so that the marriage of Dev to Payal could take place without any hiccups.

Suddenly Gulkand turned and asked: "So what is this big tender you are working on?"

Ayodhya was totally unprepared for this quesiton and without a thought he blurted what was on his mind: "Payal Rai"

Gulkand (loudly): "What did you say?"

Ayodhya (stumbling): "Pyaaz aur Rai ..eee (onion and mustard seed) ... you see there is request for tenders to do construction work to irrigate the onion and mustard fields by the railway station. This is a big project by the state government and I have submitted a tender." Saying this he swallowed hard.

Gulkand in self thought - "Did he say Payal Rai or Pyaaz aur Rai..eee?"😲
