While I am very much enthusiastic about larger than life films, it is the slice of life films which are real and touch you the most. Which are the best slice of life films you've watched?

My list is below, in no particular order

1. English Vinglish

2. Do Dooni Char

3. Queen

4. Taare Zameen Par

5. The Blue Umbrella

6. Khosla Ka Ghosla

8. I Am Kalam

9. The Lunchbox

Most of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's films esp, Khubsoorat, Bawarchi, Golmaal.

Khatta Meetha (old one), Parichay, Masoom, Do dooni chaar, Saheb, Khosla ka ghosla, HHRPK, TZP, DCH, CDI, Swades, Munnabhai MBBS, OMG, Atithi kab jaoge, English Vinglish, Queen, Hera Pheri (2000).

I love slice of life films. They are a relaxing watch and very easy to relate to.

Exactly,that's the best thing about them.One can watch these kind of movies umpteen no. of times which is not possible with dark and heavy duty emotional movies.The repeat value makes them more desirable and hence memorable.Prefer them over love stories any day.
