If I had known that you were around there, I would have come to the SC forum as well just to link up with you. As it was, I never even looked in there. Pity!

After what feels like ages, today's episode had just the right tone of mysticism, and the initiation rites, and I really liked it. The Naanu-Balivesh-Greyerson interlude was an irritating interruption (Greyerson's gerua vastra seems to have shrunk!) , as was Shampoo Ad's trying to flirt with that Girl in Black in such an affected manner. It might be too late for it, but he should try some anti-acne medicines; his cheeks look like the moon's surface.

The Girl in Black, I learned here, is going to help Rudra in the end.

Maybe Bhairavi, being a shape shifter, chose Maimuyi's face because she was the closest to Rudra, but no prizes for guessing why the PH chose her, to get Seema Biswas back! Such a wise decision. She must have be a martinet of a schoolmistress in a previous life, and in this one too she cracks the whip and Rudra obeys. And gets into a black outfit, thank God!😉

If only Shivanand could have achieved even a fraction of this effortless authority! He is being buffetted around badly, poor chap, and even his fighting skills seem to be very far from enough against the naga pramukh.

Shyamala ji,
It was so much fun. Saras and Kumud were complex characters and the forum used to analyze them a lot. In this show, there is not much importance to the characters as there is to the story as they border on unnatural/superhuman stuff.
In SC forum, there used to be eulogies, poetry(ARshi, Anu ji and all) and songs. Samarth ji, happychappy, hgg ji, Shrija, Anu and Arshi. You would have been a great addition there.

Arshi, Santhi,

If you feel like it, take a look at a somewhat longer take on Episode 62 at page 6 of my latest thread, The rebirth of Rudra, at

I know, Santhi. It would have been so much fun, especially as I was very fond of Saras-Kumud.

But I was writing a lot on Jodha Akbar at that time, so I simply watched and enjoyed their pairing, which, as I wrote to Arshi once, reminded me of the Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers dancing duets. Perhaps it was better that way, for I would not have wanted to dissect magic! Once she married Pramad, the magic faded and I left.
