I'm sorry if you feel I'm accusing you specifically...I'm just quite irritated with the general level of obtuseness being displayed in this forum so I may have ended up taking that out on you...also I didn't think it was fair that ppl in this thread were being accused of blaming Mukti and implying she asked for it...that is a very serious accusation so my response was vehement as a result.

Lets not use words as easy lay and loose with such callousness. This is exactly what is wrong. The problem is not Mukti sleeping with someone, its that she turns out and around doesnt take the respnsibility. Mukti is not any looser than Rocky and his friends who also has no qualms of sleeping with a stranger.

My problem was always MUKTI..period and now that character selling this andolan..am not gonna buy it..

chuck the social issue aside..it actually is diluting the whole build up towards fusion concert..the show was on such a peak level and here comes sudden andolan out of no where...😡

it definitely looks like a sudden inclusion to the script...i feel channel as always is dictating the script and our KY2 writers r again helpless.

what is the purpose of showing a ssocial issue when we cannot connect with it.. i may sound insensitive..but i was yawning through out..and now to think that this whole andolan is going to be stretched for one whole week..man just kill me already

they showed manan scenes as a fan service today..that's it.just to bloody incorporate this sudden "morcha"...out of all the character mukti selling it makes things even worse...i hate you MTV...

I only want to add this:

SOCIAL issues are not isolated events that occur in a society: MINDSETS don't CHANGE with a few people. IT IS A MINDSET, it's about power relationships, it's about men and women and other genders who negotiate stereotypes about who and what they should and shouldn't be EVERY DAY.it's about people who DONT WANT TO FIT INTO GENDER BINARIES AND ARE FORCED TO DO SO EVERY DAY. It is NOT a day's affair. and it's DEFINITELY NOT the propping of EXTREMELY WEAK CHARACTERS simply DECIDING they are victims of 'patriarchy' (As if there is only one kind of power dynamic that influences women's lives)

I am sorry makers; I HAD a huge problem with 1. using LGBTQ liberal politics to not only trivialize the issues queers face every day but also to completely gloss over teacher-student relationships where teachers can easily manipulate students for their own needs.

Similarly, mukti, who has USED her sexuality in an empowering way for herself, in a selfish way to manipulate other, weaker people simply coz SHE wanted 'fun' or 'get over someone' is NOT RIGHT. JUST because she's a girl, it makes it okay for her to drive a guy to suicide, however indirectly?

WHAT she did was consensual, and while the bar issue and the jibes made to her NEEDED to be dealt with; THEY CANNOT BE USED AS GLOSSES FOR ISSUES THAT ARE FAR MORE RELEVANT, just because women issues are ' IN'.

It's humiliating, disgusting and reeks of exactly the SAME mindset this 'youth show' was not SUPPOSED to be about.

DEEPLY disappointed. It's insulting.

MTV as well as the PH should be aware about this how we are pissed about this current track. 😵
I dont get it how this Mukti's deep psychological problem is related to this random stand for a social cause? 😕 Thanks to MTV, with this track my interest in this show is fast evaporating.
And this stand for not to judge women by their dress has become way outdated. It has been one in other shows, KY2 is not doing anything new. 🥱
I have seen it in other shows & I am done with it. Period. 🥱

My issue with whole thing is, I just dont get when and how this whole thing turned into Mukti not wearing so called *decent* cloths..

It was her choice to sleep with Rocky. It was consensual.. The aftermath of that was Rocky turned out to be some cheapo guy.. I get that too.. He circulated her number among friends and thats something you would want to fight... He didnt circulate the number because mukti was wearing shorts.. He circulated because he slept with her.. So when and how did this turn into fight for right to wear the cloths we choose (and offcourse every sane person totally believes that)..

In the bar brawl the people werent helping Mukti and co in the fight because of what she was wearing.. Now i get that .So if they had picked on this and gone with elaborating cloths thing i might have been able to connect with it.. But right now, i just dont see how and when this turned into right to wear cloths fight...

I just wanna say whatever they ar gonna show dont make nandini murthy a scapegoat amid of thsi drama ..thr is many way to show support for this cause rather than s**t walk ..just to incoporate sunny leone and promote her lame movie dont butcher our show ..
