seriously they decided to use this issue because well it is a prevalent one on their weakest link? Like Mukti? Are u f**kING kidding me? A girl who first used a Pandit then a boy who just had a harmless crush on her is playing the victim card over here?

Just because ithey want to talk about women empowerment they decide to show whatever they like like s**t walk? Like seriously? And Sunny Leone promoting this issue? Or is she promoting her movie?

Since when did it end up being about dressing sense? The last I check Mukti had CONSENSUAL sex with a person because she wanted a wild night and now she is shown here sitting helplessly in a saree? Like wut even? Werent they the ones to mock Nandini and Navya regarding their dressing style and also gave those ridiculous dares like kissing a random guy or giving a lap dance to a guard?

Ab kya hua? Suddenly Mukti becomes a victim? And what was that entire thing of dealing with everything alone and entering a bar? Like anything could have happened had Manik or the girls had not reached on time, she should have lodged a complaint about those lewd messages or should have gone to the bar with her friends to deal with the boys!

I am seriously pissed and hurt because of their treatment of this track

i mean the way the guy behaved with mukti was wrong to comment about her dressing was totally rubbish who the hell is he to tell her what to wear and what not it is her choice and as human it is her right too

mukti went to that guy ok but that doesn't mean now mukti is his property and he can pass on her too others and harass her with cheap messages it is her choice and it should be always girls choice

TM thanks a lot for making the post.
I have been a silent member of the forum but never had a major problem with any of the issues raised in the show.

But this track is absoluty unacceptable. It is not only mocking a sensitive issue but also using the pity card to prove a weak and superficial character right.

I do not have a problem with the issue being raised but using Mukti puts me off. Few days ago the same girl goes around having physical relation with a guy on her own will but now she is being portrayed as a victim when she is not one.
Where were her morals or whatever they call it when she bullied Nandani. Fab5 had asked her to kiss a random guy then and now when the same happens to you, you say it is not right and we ought oppose this.

And I don't get it how Nandu is all there for her when she was the same girl who did all that to Shahid? Did Miss Murthy have a memory loss?
It would have been better if the victim was Aliya or someone else other than Mukti.

And the s**t walk?! What do I even say about that. It doesn't even make sense. Have they checked what it is really? I guess NO.

This track is sure shot failure if only people see the difference between actual victims and a self proclaimed victim. But alas it is not going to happen and it can be clearly seen from all the posts in the forum.
Thanks again for making the thread. I was fed up of reading all those posts supporting Mukti.

What do you know about s**t walk? What do you know about the pain of the girl who was ACTUALLY treated like an asset for sexual satiety? What do you know about the life of victim of this animalistic behaviour? What do you know about the courage that it takes for such girls and women to go around, head held high? DO YOU EVEN f**kIN KNOW EVEN THE IOTA OF THE PAIN THEY GO THROUGH?

First get down to the basic problem - Mukti. Mukti is one character full of hypocrisy, double standards and very much an escapist. All she needs is a bully bag to put blame on, whenever something wrong happens in her life. This girl, for the love of God, doesn't even know how to respect herself and love herself, forget about others. SHE BLOODY USES SEX AS CRUTCH TO NUMB OUT HER PAIN. How are we supposed to sympathize with such girl who cries out when the things got out of her control? I am sorry but I am not sorry when I myself being a girl say this, Mukti called it all by herself. Not always she would find people like Pandit or Shahid to be used as playtoys. bas***ds like Rocky would make their presence known someday or other.

AND TELL ME ONE THING, isn't Mukti an outrageously bold girl? Who tied her hands from taking that saree from that asshole and draping it around him instead? Does she only has guts to shout like morons when not being asked for and then being another Nirupa Roy when we actually could use her raising her voice?

And most importantly, THAT WAS A CONSENSUAL SEX! Cabir dropped her back home, safely. It was her 'Its my life, I get to decide what to do with it' attitude that made her call Rocky and go with him. NO ONE BUT SHE HERSELF IS TO BE BLAMED FOR IT. And when the things backfired on her, she is trying to use pity track, like what even?

I get the show is trying to portray a social message and all, but THATS NOT THE WAY YOU DO IT. MUKTI is the WORST choice to portray it. Ever. Had this girl had even ounce of regret or had dwelling session on what she did in past? We could have moved past it but just 2 days back we had show of her hypocrisy and you expect us to sympathize with her?

Do whatever you want to glorify this character, go and play out as many pity cards you want but PLEASE DON'T MAKE MOCKERY OF THE STRUGGLES OF ALL THOSE GIRLS OUT THERE WHO LEGIT FIGHT THESE DEMONS ALONE.

Don;t be a vogue and flaunt social causes as some trendy accesories.

Mukti GAVE HER CONSENT to Rocky. She was not raped, not harassed , was willing . And she knew it before she got drunk. She has been using random sex to numb her emotions. Thats been her MO since day1.

She is the same girl who used Shahid, Pandit earlier - same modus operendi as Rocky - So where is the difference now?

The girl was foolish to go to a bar to meet random people rather than complain to police.

She hasn;t realized how she has been doing exactly the same thing all her life when she spread Shahid's MMS all across the campus.

How are we to sympathize with her when she has no guilt or remorse at her own actions.

Aliya asked Nandu to kiss a random guy in the college once. So it comes as a little superficial and reeks of hypocrisy for them to go touchy when someone else pulls the same stunt on them.

How does this issue becomes about her clothes? Just How?

Sexual promisicuity was willingly taken by Mukti - she has had not one moment where she has regretted it.

STOP SELLING A CHARACTER THAT IS JUST PLAIN ANNOYING AND WEAK . STOP GIVING HER EVERY PITY PARTY THAT YOU CAN HAVE.

DON'T MAKE A MOCKERY OF A SOCIAL CAUSE.

Superficial steps and tracks do injustice to a sensitive cause.

as a girl i'm all for this social cause, but somehow i'm gonna repeat myself again there's something amiss in this story and execution...

itsnotaboutusbutyou... great concept, but it should work 2 way here, what about when Mukti and Aliya publicly insult people who wear traditional clothes?😕 that is permitted!

now someone has dared behaved worst( i hated that creep, and the way he made Mukti wear that sari!), i want MTV to really show something good here!

Please dont make a mockery out of such a sensitive issue!

And as i always say clothes cant nor will ever determine a person's character!

anyway let's wait and see, i sincerely hope they give us something good, and not that s**t walk i just read about!🤢

That this is a noble cause, no one is denying...but if you want to take it on, for pete's sake show some effing RESPONSIBILITY rather than BLINDLY rushing in just cuz it's a HOT TOPIC right now?

This culture that we live in now where everything has to be about catchphrases and how quickly something can go viral...this is both a boon and a bane...

And in this case very much a bane...we are facing serious issues in the country right now regarding how women are objectified, targetted, shamed but MTV's solution to all this is to bring Sunny Leone and the most unapologetically promiscuous character on the show and show them as victims regarding their choice of clothing?

Talk about being LOST IN TRANSLATION...since when did this become about Mukti's clothes? Oh right, when they suddenly decided to go crusader on this...what about the bigger issues in Mukti's life regarding how she cheapens her own self-respect time and again? No need to discuss that?

If they so badly wanted to make a point regarding this issue, it should have been through a girl like Alya...who doesn't use her clothes to hide her insecurities like Mukti does...who is a proud, self-confident woman unapologetic about who she is...THAT is the point of this movement.

Mukti is a sorry excuse for a human being only, let alone a woman...by making this about her clothes, the writers are only distracting from the REAL ISSUE at hand.

And then this just becomes EMPTY NAAREBAAZI using "catchy" phrases like s**t-walking...and ironically ppl blindly fall for it in the need to support the cause in ANY form without understanding HOW this is coming across...

They want us to sympathize with mukti who is d stupidest n lamest character in d show right now?

She walked into a trap all knowing n drunk n not paying a single heed to all her friends n brought d whole thing upon herself.

She had consensual sex with a guy n neither was she raped or molested...it was her CHOICE to ignore all others n go with that guy to the hostel...she was fully aware of what she was doing and she has no right to play the victim card here.

And who do u bring to support this...Sunny Leone? Is this a f**king joke 4 u?

Ids she here to promote another erotic movie of hers or does she really know or care about the whole movement?

And MTV, plz tell me , is this really about mukti? Or is it ur innovative way to give someone more screen space n address whatever offscreen shit that has been dealt out to the actor by some foolish obsessive fans?

U dare to abuse such a movement by making a joke out of it n trivializing the courage, determination, strength n nerve showed by some extremely amazing women in this manner?
