I absolutely loved how they shot the wedding sequence. Gautam's sublime expressions never fail to make a mark. Payal was great as the weakened by poison yet putting a brave front bride. I am a sucker for single eye tears and Payal did that with so much ease and elan during the engagement scene that it looked natural. Another moment which I loved was when Surekha ji alias Dadi gently pinched Rudra's cheeks while applying the haldi. It was adorableš³
Keeping the best for the last, the major eye to eye conversation between Rudra and Shiva that took place right after Maya collapsed; that was two seasoned campaigners making merry on screen right there. The way Shivanand seamlessly reassured Rudra to lift his frail bride up to complete the pheres who hitherto had maintained his calm disposition amidst his mental turmoil was spectacular. Hats off to Manish ji. š
Coming to the pre-cap:
It could turn out to be one hell of a red herring by being just another premonition of Rudra or, it could be true too as the writer himself tweeted that he described the whole incident to be similar to that of the Red Wedding which happens in the book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, where the seemingly good people, are mercilessly massacred at a similar wedding set-up, while narrating the story to the channel folks.This is just a vague comparison to show that This Is War, Anything Can Happen, Especially The Unimaginable.
