I absolutely loved how they shot the wedding sequence. Gautam's sublime expressions never fail to make a mark. Payal was great as the weakened by poison yet putting a brave front bride. I am a sucker for single eye tears and Payal did that with so much ease and elan during the engagement scene that it looked natural. Another moment which I loved was when Surekha ji alias Dadi gently pinched Rudra's cheeks while applying the haldi. It was adorable😳

Keeping the best for the last, the major eye to eye conversation between Rudra and Shiva that took place right after Maya collapsed; that was two seasoned campaigners making merry on screen right there. The way Shivanand seamlessly reassured Rudra to lift his frail bride up to complete the pheres who hitherto had maintained his calm disposition amidst his mental turmoil was spectacular. Hats off to Manish ji. 👏

Coming to the pre-cap:

It could turn out to be one hell of a red herring by being just another premonition of Rudra or, it could be true too as the writer himself tweeted that he described the whole incident to be similar to that of the Red Wedding which happens in the book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, where the seemingly good people, are mercilessly massacred at a similar wedding set-up, while narrating the story to the channel folks.This is just a vague comparison to show that This Is War, Anything Can Happen, Especially The Unimaginable.

It looks like premonition.

I just loved the episode.

Top marks from me in this order go to

1. Rudra.

2. BG score. Suited it so well.

3. Rudra- Maya's eye lock during the pheres when he holds her up.

4. Shivanand encouraging Rudra to take Maya in his arms and thrusting her arm around is neck. And then putting her other arm on his shoulder. Such a sensitive soul.

5. Haldi scene of Rudra. When dadi pinches his cheek. Dadi dadi hoti hai.

The whole episode was well shot.

And precap is surely his premonition. So far he has got a premonition before anything happened.

The question is why did Shivanand lie to rudra? Will they do dahan samskaar to Maya? How will they avoid that?

My whole question is - Did the marriage happen or that itself was Rudra's premonition. I mean if something as great as Maya's death has happened how come in precap he is sleeping in jeans and shirt.

Though I enjoyed the wedding sequence especially the scene where Shiva places hand on Rudra's shoulder when Maya collapses, Maya enjoying her haldi and mehendi, the way she walked upto the mandap ( Payal was looking beautiful), the BGM all was simply nice, but then precap left me so confused that I was not sure whether wedding happened.

Yes it is. What I felt sad about is that Rudra did not get premonition about Ganga getting killed. He is so into Maya!

But tbh, an event like this is needed to shake up his system, wake him up from his temporary slumber, and be fierce and battle-ready to take on the Nagas.

And yaaay to Rahil's dhamakedaar entry as Dansh. 😳

Fully agree. Yesterday I mentioned that Rudra needed this Solid Jhatka to get him out of his Maya (girl and in its broader sense) and make him face the reality about the Amrit and his role in it.

Loved the Naga entry and their leader. Handsome villain. Ekdum Hi tech log hai. Surely they are trained by very rich Boss because they have all latest weapons.

The entry of the Nagas was pretty cliched. I didn't quite enjoy that but I am happy to see the return of Rahil Azzam.

Did you also notice the blatant lawlessness prevailing in Prayag? That's another thing grating on my nerves. Other than that, the pace of the story has picked up at full throttle after ages.

I am interested to know who the hi-tech boss is; it would turn out to be another massive shock undoubtedly, with Utkarsh ji at the helm of things 😊
