"Enough" Sid screamed
As the entire family stood in the hall while holding their breaths and awaiting for the calm after the storm. Upon Rajveer and Kritika's encouragement, Simren had once again accused Sid of being unfair in his business dealings.
"Sid! This girl...this girl is the reason behind your wrong doings. Before her, you never even raised your voice at me and you would have never cheated someone, much less your own sister's husband"
Simren grabbed Roshni's hand and had begun to drag her towards the door, when Sid grabbed Roshni's other hand and stopped her.
"Before HIM, you would have trusted that I would never do anything of the sort. Did you once ask me for an explanation or tried to figure out the truth before you accused me. Before her, you would have stood by right regardless of who you had to fight against. And now...now you are blinded to your own daughter's wrongs. I kept silent and endured for your sake. I endured accusations from every single person I loved...from my wife, my own mother, my own family. But not anymore"
Sid pulls Roshni towards him and drags her into their room. Roshni quietly stands by the door as she watches Sid furiously pull clothes out of their closet.
"Sid, kya kar rahe ho"-Roshni whispers
Sid stops for a second and releases a pain-filled sigh.
"Dard ho raha hai Roshni"
Roshni rushes towards him and wraps her hand around Sid's arm and wipes the single tear from his face. She quietly picks up the clothes and starts helping him pack. Together they walk back to the hall and stop by Raj.
"Dad"
Sid tries to explain, but struggles with the words.
"I understand, son. Just when you are ready and Simi realizes her mistake, come back with my daughter as well."-Raj whispers to Sid
"I will try my best Dad"
Raj hugs Roshni and Sid.
"Sid...Sid maat jao"
Simren tries to pull him back, but Sid pulls her hand off of him.
"I hope now you and your daughter will no longer have any problems. I wish you all the happiness in the world mom. I love you"
Sid takes Roshni's hand and walks out.
Outside on the street, Sid stares are the gates of the Khurrana mansion. He can feel the moisture building and the increasing pounding of his heart.
"Mein tumhare saath hoon Siddharth"
"Tumne toh phele bhi mera saath choda tha"
Roshni flinches at his word and maybe more so at the resounding truth they held.
"Shayaad iss bar nahi"
Sid nods, taking her hand into his and they start walking away.
