"When you look into my eyes
And you see the crazy gypsy in my soul
It always comes as a surprise
When I feel my withered roots begin to grow

Well I never had a place
That I could call my very own
But that's all right my love
'Cause you're my home.

When you touch my weary head
And you tell me everything will be all right
You say use my body for your bed
And my love will keep you warm throughout the night

Well I'll never be a stranger
And I'll never be alone
Wherever we're together
That's my home."

-Billy Joel

The Rudra-Maya scene from last night was their best yet, especially Payal's. The way in which she instantly breaks down after Rudra lifts her up was superbly done. Finally I could see some chemistry between the couple and that's a great start! Long live Maya!

Rudra takes up a Zen-like disposition once he abandons chasing the mystery man. What could be the reason? I am intrigued. Your thoughts?

I typed my reply and the site went under maintenance. So re-typing!!
Wow. The poem/song is so apt. Its as if the writers picked this to write their lines for the scene.

Yesterday's scene was definitely the pair's best. Rudra pours his heart out. He found someone he can claim his own and return to. Beautiful lines. And Maya responded with equal intensity. I finally saw great chemistry n intensity in the pair.

Especially the part where she says he now really looks like a superman. And Rudra is about to breakdown but holds up and smiles.

This was because the writing was at its best and aided the scene. Shows that this pair can do very well if the script is good.

Thanks for the post.

It's a famous song from Billy Joel's album "Piano Man". The lyrics fit the scene perfectly 😊

Bingo!

I loved that part too. It was beautifully performed by both. I found the sync between the actors for the first time in that scene. Payal Rajput has improved so much in the emotional scenes and I can see the growth in her as an actor.

I, on the contrary, feel all their scenes so far have been nicely penned. It's only now we see the words written by the writer are getting translated effectively into actions by both the actors.

Thanks for the post.

You're welcome 😊

I concur with your thoughts. Loved theirvscene yesterday. It was definitely their best yet. I have always thought of Payal as a fairly good actress somehow this forum seems to think otherwise. I agree the script regarding the romantic angle in this show has been weak and not very convincing till now but Payal has never been a reason for any want of chemistry between the couple.
Good post.

Regarding writing, I have a long list of issues.
I didn't see the script working on showing how the relationship was developed. How Rudra came to a state where Maya was the biggest reality(he says that in the library).
Even how Maya came to be overcome with guilt was poorly shown. It was very late.
I didn't see any lines worth remembering in rudra-maya scenes. Only one I remember was when they sit by the boat and Rudra talks about her being the instrument but not the reason.
I didn't see any good camera work or shots.
I see that Shruti ulfat is a great and she was given some good scenes(though now she is relegated to the stereotyped maa of TV).

I meant before this week. This was in response to thread maker saying that she thought the pair was written well but lack of chemistry didn't help.

This week, the writing(for this pair. It has been outstanding otherwise), acting and chemistry are all up there. I was going gaga in Arshi's post 2 days back.
