Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez came in to support their favourite designer Manish Malhotra at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015 in Mumbai on Wednesday. Also clicked was Anaita Shroff Adajania.

The star studded Manish Malhotra show at LFW this year was a salute to women empowerment through his designs. Manish has collaborated with the global campaign WEvolve for this year's Blue Fashion Runway concept.

The set had a grungy feel with flowers & green shrubs etc adding an element of natural wild. The show opened with a video showcasing women's inequality and had models holding up placards stating words like: GENDER, EQUALITY, EMPOWERMENT & HUMANITY- in one part.

There was no celebrity show stopper surprisingly. The collection focused on blue, cream & gold with embellishments & floral embroidery. Manish also presented design wear for men in magenta, blue & gold.
