Hey y'll,

How are you? Hope life is treating you well.

It is 4 am here and I am seriously doubting my sanity for posting part-1 of the chapter at this time of the morning. I have developed crater-sized blindspots and have no idea of the typos, grammatical errors and other mistakes I have made. Right now, I am hoping that I have gotten everything I had in mind in terms of presenting the story right.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that the flaws aren't too many and please please do feel free to let me know of any mistakes you spot.

Once again, this is a long chapter. It turned out to be longer than I anticipated and I have another scene to go before I complete it.

I hope to update part-2 soon...by Friday night latest (coz I am going to sleep in and hope to stay in bed for at least eight hours).

This was a difficult chapter to write. Please share your thoughts. I appreciate honest reviews. Hit like if you enjoyed it.

Khushi's one gesture towards Akash inviting him on her trips has broken the shell and liberated her...

It has made all her insecurities and apprehensions that had crippled her life to take a hike... Just the thought that she is not alone has made those crippling feelings leave the boat it was sailing and fade away...

Her blooming back to her energetic self was something well appreciated by her Paati and Atha...

Akash whom she thought was quite a happy go lucky fellow hid his pain behind a mask... Though reluctant he did open up and what a story it is... A blatant misuse of a law just to get their own way and come out unsullied in the eyes of the society...

Payal whom he thought had shared his every dream and was his other half...

Within a year of marriage turned out to be a distorted version of his thoughts...

and ended up being the wolf... out for blood...

By listening to Akash, Khushi has realized, why her life, which she thought was filled with misery, was not really that bad and his was something unexpected... All of them did have a rent in their canvas and some had more with stains added...

But these things could never come between true friendship... A friend who understands your tears is invaluable...

When Kuku spoke about the distance between her father and her ... Akki was able to steer her thoughts as to what may be the real cause... When Akki waited for her to pass the judgement like the rest and make him culpable for her derision, he was asked whether they could include Lavanya in their trip plans... showing that its the affection that counts... They found out that... the real friend reaches for your hand and touches your heart... to be true...

That was a fantastic Part A Sandhya...

So happy that Khushi has found new energy and positivity. Good friends do that to you and for you.
So apt "....friends indeed have the power to unleash the real you."

The Rao women and Lavanya have formed a nice camaraderie and am looking for Akash to be popping in at Emerald House often.

Enjoyed their outing and ending up at the Golf Club and his disclosure about his failed marriage and the reason. The reason is quite startling..omg!!!
In this story Akash and Lavanya will make a great pair indeed...looking forward to their Avalanche trip!! 😃

"One hundred and twenty minutes since he had spotted Akash and Khushi."
Jealous...envious...puzzled...annoyed...what the...surely not thrilled and all in knots ans turmoil at the moment. 😆

"...twelve inch mattress.."...made me think of the story "The Princess and the Pea". 😆

Arnav's POV was a delight to read.
Loved the way deflected Khushi and his mother's meeting and then Akash calling to deflect the dinner at the club.

"..called you...hundred times...never picked up...coward.."...😆
Enjoyed the whole conversation between the two.

PS: Is it Sheetal or Shreya...I thought it was Sheetal when I first read the chapter, but now it is Shreya, but there is still one mention of Sheetal at the end of the convo with Akash??
