I'm currently writing an article on Bollywood vs Hollywood, and I wanted to get some opinions on which people prefer, and why.

I prefer korean show/movie over BW n HW
but if i've to choose between Hw n Bw then
romantic/luv story- both holly n bolly
Action/sci-fi/Thriller/horror- HW
F*Ly drama-BW
Comedy-BW

Hollywood and by a country mile.

BW makes about five-six good movies per year (most of the time), that is far far too less.So, the only thing that it can beat HW on; Quality; BW is light years behind.

Lets not talk about big budget Sci-fi, War, Fantasy, Superhero epics that HW makes every year. There is no comparison in that sense.

For example, the only movies worth talking about from 2014 would be:

PK.
Hawaa Hawaai.
Haider.
Ugly.
Filmistaan.
Queen.

And that's about it.

Hollywood mainly because of the realistic approach barring sci-fi, horrors etc.

Also for better acting, cinematography !

Superhero movies,Adventure movies(like Lord of the rings,Harry potter)= Hollywood

Emotional,Family drama=Bollywood

Comedy and action=Both. Cause Bollywood also does offer some great action. Specially south movies(Tollywood)

Comedy in hollywood and bollywood are awesome. I cannot choose if Hangover series are better or Hera pheri. So both are my favs here😆

Romance=Hate this genre both in HW and BW. 😆

Could you be more specific into what aspects you are using for comparison. I enjoy both Hollywood and Bollywood movies for various reasons. I have criticisms of both industries as well.
