While there might be some disrespect and even some hatred involved, this point has been made several times in the past and has some merit.

Why get foreign backup dancers when you can employee your own?
Why get foreign heroines when we have beautiful and talented Indian girls?

It's along the same lines. Most of the Pakistani singers currently employed are nothing special barring a rahat fateh Ali khan. Katrina can't act and she's nothing special looks wise either neither is Jacqueline. Guess Sunny has her own talents. Some producers like Mahesh Bhatt have agendas in introducing such talent.

The point is, it's a debate and while I Believe in equal opportunity for everyone, I can see where he's coming from. It just can't be regelegated to 'hate'. Foreign workers/immigrants is a serious issue in every industry.

Honestly, I am not for BW importing so much of foreign talent especially since India has a huge population out of which many people are talented. Those people should be given a chance.

But I didn't like the way Kunal put his point across. It was rude & uncalled for. As a public figure, he should be mindful of what he says. He could have been more respectful.
