As far as they are concerned Gopi left for Radha and her daughter. They dont know that Radha isdead. i have a feeling that once they find out Ahem will get his daughters hate as Meera will remember what happened when gopi was protecting

Also loved the way that Gopi gave Mansi a good telling off when mansi reprimanded the girls for talking back to Gopi like this as she is their mother. Gopi tells dont pretend to be nice as she knows exactly what she is doing when she told them that Ahem modi does not live here. Mansi replies that she knew Ahem did not want to see her, Gopi tells her who was she to make that decision?👏

It was probably convenient for Ahem to tell the girls a half truth and then not bother to clarify when the girls became older. Gopi was wrong in putting the 'family' first but Ahem denigrated Gopi in the eyes of her girls. No parent should do that to the other.

I may be wrong in saying this but what else Ahem was expected to say? There is no denying that Ahem's reaction was above board however this must be kept in mind that it was Gopi who insisted that her kids shouldn't know where their mother was. In fact, in today's episode Gopi kept on repeating that she was helpless. She was justifying their reason without telling the real reason. I doubt whether Mansi knows that Gopi was in jail or not.
