I may be wrong in saying this but what else Ahem was expected to say? There is no denying that Ahem's reaction was above board however this must be kept in mind that it was Gopi who insisted that her kids shouldn't know where their mother was. In fact, in today's episode Gopi kept on repeating that she was helpless. She was justifying their reason without telling the real reason. I doubt whether Mansi knows that Gopi was in jail or not.

For the girls at the age of 9 and 11 separation from a mother can be very heart breaking. Vidya was always close to Gopi hence she had missed her a lot. They weren't given rationale reason regarding their mother's departure. They will naturally hate their mother.

Now there is another important point. Ahem did keep Gopi's promise. He didn't tell the girls about Gopi being in jail cause of Gopi's promise!

That is the mistake which she & the Modis are making. This also includes Ahem. The girls are grown up. They were already 10 & 8 when Gopi went behind the bars. They have a right to know no matter what. If they know the truth, they will hate their father for hiding from them. Whatever sanskars he gave to the girls will come back to him.

Worse still it is an act of passion or rage or whatever. not cold blooded murder with a motive.

Ahem is right in a way Gopi getting too involved Gopi getting too emotional for the sake of Paridhi and other family members going to that extent to kill a person and go behind bars.

The kids are right in a way Gopi never thought of them when she killed Radha.

Yes, Ahem is right in his POV. But he cannot think of anything beyond himself. Radha was a problem for all. It is not only for Jigar or Paridhi. How did he forget what Radha did to Meera & Vidya after her re-entry? Just telling Gopi was not enough. Did he work out a plan to throw Radha out of MB? Did he even stop Gopi physically from killing Radha? It is equally his fault. If Gopi had not involved in these matters, it wouldn't have solved the problem.

Gopi is stupid and emotional . Education has not done anything to her. Her kids are not that much educated as she wished.

Gopi & Ahem are equally stupid. Both of them are stupid in their won ways. Gopi has committed murder but what did he do? He is behaving like that because he cannot think anything beyond himself. Radha was a problem for all. When Radha kidnapped Meera & Vidya, did he tell Gopi that she should not involve in their daughter's matters? When Radha had stuffed the mirchi powder in Meera's mouth, did he tell Gopi not to involve in Meera's matters? When she cut Meera's ghungroo that had made Meera fall, did Ahem tell not to involve in Meera's matters? When Radha changed Meera's exam time-table, did Ahem tell her anything? If Gopi had not done this, Radha would have tortured Meera & Vidya to a large extent at least till they go to USA. How can he forget those things? Even Gopi did not communicate properly. If she had told these things to Ahem, then he would have agreed. Ahem has always been stupid who knows only to shout & yell at others. He blames everybody but himself. If Ahem had worked out a plan to throw Radha out, that would have solved the problem.

And would not anyone else tell the kids how Gopi their mother went to jail?

How can Modis hide such a big fact from the children? Even for that matter Ahem how could he hide it from the children?

He cannot tell such a big lie that Gopi left him and the kids for the sake of Radha.

That is the mistake which the Modis are making. They have a right to know what is happening. Even Ahem is making that mistake. But it is again Gopi who took the promise from them that Meera & Vidya should not know that she killed Radha. It will be a bigger shock for Rashi. It is better that Meera, Vidya & Rashi know the truth before it is too late.
