I know I must be boring my readers', and giving them horrors with my notes but don't worry this is something that I very generally wanted to speak about.
I am a bit disappointed with the dismal response this update has received. To top it, I was requested by many to update this and when I did, they just ran off without a word. Call it my complaint or whatever, but as a writer I do believe that I have the right to make my displeasure known. And this was certainly one of the times I didn't like. I am sorry if my frankness in this respect hurt anyone, but I believe in being honest to myself and also the members, who take out time to read my stories. So please next time, do give due consideration to the writer before asking for an update. I am not just talking about myself but all the writers' whose stories you may be reading.
Finally coming to the main part of my discussion, the story. I had started writing this as just timepass, and had planned to keep it just entertaining all along with oodles of drama. But with time, as maturity prevailed among my readers, I went through the same phase of transformation. I began thinking of all the changes I could incorporate in order to increase the appeal of my story. It may not be as special as other stories on the forum; it is just a normal story about a girl who steps out of her comfort zone and falls in love. Many might be weirded out by my portrayal of Jodha as a Western clothes wearing, sometimes swearing and doing things not normally done by women. However, I would love to break something here; Jodha represents any normal woman living in a metropolitan city in India, She is independent, honest and expresses her feelings boldly. She knows how to have fun with her friends yet she is a dutiful daughter.
It is said that any writing is a reflection of the author itself, and the same applies to my writing as well. I am sure many might be feeling my touch of originality in whatever I am giving. Whatever I am portraying in my story isn't dreamy or gibberish, it is hopefully the most original portrayal of a city girl, whose parents have given her unrestricted freedom to chase her dreams. She is treated at par with her brother, and she allowed to dress the way she desires without any interference from anywhere. And the marriage part is common for all girls throughout India, which is pretty normal in every part of the country. Such an environment for a girl may be a dream, but let me assure you it is not. From where I come, girls are not stopped from pursuing their wishes and desires. Everyone lives their life to the fullest and without regrets, looking forward to each day as it comes.
Jalal and Jodha are not facing issues as of now, but the religion issue will soon crop up. However, I do feel that every situation like this may not be blown out of proportion; problems can be sorted amicably. Jodha's brother has already accepted Jalal because of the same open-mindedness. They won't suffer too much, because I feel too much of it is overrated. I want to keep things minimalistic and show a somewhat realistic portrayal of their troubles.
Jalal and Jodha are in such a stage of their relationship that they are eager to discover each other. So it makes it very natural for them; especially Jodha's eagerness, to indulge in mild sexual activity. Also, I like to write such scenes descriptively which may not go down well with some section of readers on the forum. I do not blame anyone for it, since it is a matter of personal lookout. All I wanted to say is that it is perfectly normal for a couple staying in a metropolis to be intimate if they are sure of each other. It doesn't make them immoral, neither does it make them bad children to their parents.
The major reason I feel that I don't have a special connect with my readers is due to my open-mindedness while writing my updates. Many don't connect with such a thought process, and it is perfectly fine. My stories may break conventions, and all things in them are very candidly spoken about. I cannot write stories on conservative themes because I am not that way. I am used to seeing a particular environment around me, and I pick up a lot of things from it to add to my stories. I am sorry if it doesn't appeal to someone; but I can't write stories on generally accepted ideas of convention.
My dear readers, its not necessary to post unlimited praises on my thread, endless discussions of the plot...all I want is to be given a frank opinion of my story, however it may be. Asking for updates is perfectly fine, but since I am unnecessarily emotional and worrisome, I would like to see your opinion about it. I know many love reading this story, so do post a word or two about how you feel about it or at least PM me...otherwise, this twisted mind of mine will end up thinking that you found something amiss😆

If endless suffering and pain makes the couple of a story epic; then I am sorry mine is not. I don't believe in inflicting pain unless completely necessary. All situations do not follow the same path and everyone doesn't end up scarred for life. This story was never meant to be epic in any sense, and no story is epic till we make it.😃
Lastly, I would love to thank all my readers who could connect with my open-mindedness in this respect and found this story an appealing read. I promise the next updates will be as entertaining and hopefully, a good read. Some amount of drama, with a tinge of realism makes it interesting enough to keep the reader hooked. Because lets face it; complete realism is boring and I am sure many read stories here to get a smile on their faces. I hope I have managed to do that, because a smile can light up a million lives!😃
I would like to conclude by saying that I plan to finish this story in the next 14-15 chapters, with a fitting prologue. That sums it up to chapter 50, so keep reading! Hopefully, I will manage to retain your attention till then! Keep the comments and love flowing in!
