Maybe that's why its a discovered language and not an evolved one!

I too have very very less knowledge about this, though I find it very fascinating.

Hindi I know is Sanskrit ki beti - most of its words are derived from Sanskrit, and has also borrowed extensively from all other languages it has come in contact with!

Add catamaran to it from Kattumaram.

And mulagawtany soup which is known as British Soup all over the world is nothing but our Milagu rasam or tanni - One British guy under their rule in chennai fell sick and was given this and got cured - He converted milaguthanni into mulagawtany soup and IPed it under British !!!
