This is just a random post inspired by the scene of Vihaan's entry into the house.
Narmada is Vihaan's biological mother. Neelima, though adopted, has grown up as Narmada's own sister. Priyanka and Minnie are Vihaan's father's sisters. Technically, Geeta and Harpreet are furthest from Vihaan in terms of relationships. Yet, of all the 'mothers', Geeta and Harpreet are the ones who rush to Vihaan first and accept him into the house, and fiercely respond to the others who taunt and mock their son. They behaved like normal mothers, while the others remained in their cocoons of insanity and self-obsession.
In Aarushi's case too, it seems like an important aspect. Kasturi is her step-mom, but her love for Aarushi is absolute! Our Mother India is capable of dealing with all seven of Vihaan's moms if need be. On the other hand, Aarushi's own father and brother are the kind who might happily sell her if they are paid enough.
In the old-age home/issues related episodes, parents are discarded by their own children, but they find support and comfort in outsiders. And from what I've read about Marathi show, we will get to see Aarushi establishing a strong bond with each of the mothers that goes beyond the 'saas-bahu' dynamics.
If this is indeed one of the themes of this show, then I appreciate the mind behind it. It's a particularly relevant topic in today's times đ¤
