Water doesn't add any visualeffects
Raakesh Paswan, producer of Service Wali Bahu, told us, "We used less water in the Holi sequence to ensure actors' safety. When you use water, the floor becomes slippery and there are chances of accidents. Also, while the Holi sequence might air for just a few minutes, it takes at least two-three days to shoot. Getting your actors wet for two-three days at a stretch, and that too while shooting in the open, is a health risk. It's not as if actors get a break after shooting Holi sequences. They have to continue shooting for other scenes too, so we try and use minimum water. Water doesn't add anything visually to a Holi sequence. Only the colours add beauty."
