Science - a boon or curse?

Ours is the age of science. Science has brought about a revolution in mankind. it has conquered time and distance.

at the same time science has proved to be the worst enemy of mankind.

what r ur thoughts?

Anyway, I think it can be both Misha. it can be a gift and it can also be our the worst enimy of a human being. It all depends on what and how it is used.

For example, if Science is used to cure diseases than I believe it is a gift for us human beings. However, if Science is used to make bombs or harmful items than it's our enimy.

But again it all depends on how people use it and how use it!

I think science if used right way is not your enemy. I think humans who try to use it negatively are the worst enemy. It's just like fire...if used properly its a boon..you can't cook food without fire but you can destroy tons of acres of land with fire...similarly science is teh best thing.....medical science is useful from saving lives from deadly desease, space science helps us alarm with deadly hurricane and tornado watch, i think science is very useful and a boon...but some people just use it to harm others and i think instead of taking care of science we should be taking care of those evil people.

science is one of the most interesting things in life.

i hate science... as a student
other than that i never really cared about it

science.....well is a huge word.
well it surely has it's own advantages and disadvantages but as bg desai said.men have added the disadvantages by misusing it.
if we actually get to see without science we can't even imagine being here can we???
but it is science whose discoveries like nuclear bomb has made this world a nasty place to live in.
