Sunita Menon, the renowned tarot card reader, has been roped in by Ekta Kapoor to feature in her show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu thi . Sunita will enter the show to help Tulsi Virani (being played by Gautami Kapoor) tide over her problems which have cropped up due to J R Thukral. The incense stick commercial, for which Sunita has acted, is also likely to feature along with her.
As Nivedita Basu of Balaji explains, ' After Tulsi and J R Thukral have come face-to-face in the show, Tulsi is showed to be in great trouble and she can not share her troubles with anyone in the family. So, Tulsi is shown going to a temple where she runs into Sunita Menon, who tries to help her out. Sunita will play herself and will be seen in a white salwar kameez. It was Ekta's idea to get Sunita into the show.'
It may be recalled that Ekta Kapoor has a very strong faith in astrologers and consults Sunita Menon on every important matter. Their friendship has stood the test of times and now this gimmickry will, hopefully, help Ekta in raising the TRP of her serial further
