The way our television serial makers make the story and character lose all the spark is absolutely commendable...its shows how much capable they are to write a story and character beautifully but yet destroy it with their own greed.
if we look at the surface of Anandi's life, it quiet heart touching and a good way to make a story of a girl who started from being an lively and innocent character but matured into a responsible selfless anf independent woman due to hardships of her life.
They had shown the effects of broken marriage on Anandi's psychology quiet well...specially her fear and low self-esteem by marrying a man much higher in education and other aspects of life, trusting him with her life and dreams. Now after making her widow they have absolutely lost the story. Even if they had to make her a independent woman who will have to struggle in life alone then they could have done more realistically. After losing her husband, a strong mind woman tends to get more tough and strong because now her kids have her as a sole protector and parent. The makers could have shown Anandi trying to motherly soft for her kids and strong protector for them against the world. The current track is absolutely weird way to show Anandi's greatness and her strong belief. Its not wrong to think about your kids more specially if you are a sole parent. People and their ways to handle situation tends to change according to present scenario. Normally a woman living Anandi's life will never had taken her daughter to such dangerous venue. She would have rather tried some way to get her daughter out of the way even if it delays her. This act of Anandi does not make her unique but an absolute disconnected character for viewers who are mothers as they will be unable to understand how Anandi could even take Nandini in such place. Its not important to show how great a character is but its more important to make her connect with viewers even if it happens at the cost of her greatness. Anandi needs to be more strong with her approach because now she is a single woman who has three (might be two now thanks to her latest act of goodness) kids who are very much dependent on her. Many viewers are missing Shiv's tough ways to act in such situation, shouldn't Anandi feel the same void and know that if somethings goes wrong Shiv won't be there to back her up? Was it really so difficult to foresee all the dangerous events that can take place with her daughter being there. I feel any other woman with as much experiences of stopping child marriages or involving in any such dangerous situations as Anandi would have done a better job to safeguard her daughter before helping the lady knowing she is sole parent and has recently lost an strong support of her life.

And no Anandi does not reminde of my inadequencies but rather it reminds me of how incapable our writers are to come up with a good direction of story thanks to being stuck with usual insensible formula for tracks...kidnap or kill someone close to lead character, make her cry buckets and yet show her unrealistically good an helpful as if past experiences taught her nothing

What makes people think that it wouldn't have happened if Shiv had been there?
If they could make Anandi who stopped so many child marriages and rescued Ganga's son unable to save her child what makes them stop from making Shiv unable to save his daughter?

Is Shiv God? He too is a human being he could have failed too

I don't know how good a mother Anandi is, I guess real mothers out here would be able to say better...but she is surely shown as foolish. She had previously shouted on Shiv for forgetting to pick up Amol...but now she couldn't even protect Shiv's ansh from this misfortune...

Yea but Shiv being Shiv would have made sure that Nandini was safely sent home before he went to an unsafe place to a random unknown village . Common sense . No sane person would ever take a 3 month old to an unsecure place . The safety of that little baby will be the most important thing.

Had Shiv been alive then Anandi would have told him before going to ceremony and he would have never let her take Nandini with her
they miss Shiv because he would have been quick to take actions and his position as govt. Officer would have made police more efficient and even if nothing goes right at least he would be a strong support to Anandi.

Anyway is that all you could get in my post? You caught a point which was not even mine. I was just saying that the void people felt in yesterday's episode was something Anandi needs to know about before helping others, not that i felt the void (i did not even saw the episode)...before this she had Shiv to help her but not now so why not think and plan well before act. Look at all scenarios and honestly no mother would have done what Anandi did had she thought of all scenarios...Nandini could have even be shot

that's an important point...there was literally a shower of bullets taking place...Nandini could have been shot, and so could have the other little girl sitting in the mandap...It was such a disgusting scene...how does censor board allow them to show such scenes?

I don't think serials have to pass through censor board.

who cares what censor board does, they might have shot the bullet scene without the kids on set...shoot the acene seperately and then edit it to merge it into one.
whats more weird that not once anandi thought of this...is her daughter immortal or she herself is made of strong steel that won't let any harm come to her?

Common sense goes out of the window when CVs want to show disaster in Anandi and Shiv's lives.
It happened many a time in the story with Anandi as well as Shiv

We miss Shiv and Anandi misses Shiv but that doesn't mean it wouldn't have happened if Shiv had been around

BTW she did tell the family that she is going to stop child marriage they knew that Anandi was taking Nandini with her but other than saying it was risky they did nothing.
They didn't move their backsides off the sofa

If Shiv had been there he would have rushed to that place more than telling her what to do . He would have understood the urgency and would have been with her . If people know and understand Shiv they would know that . In spite of all that if this disaster was meant to happen to them it would have happened even with him . Yes it would have been little more difficult since he is a six feet tall strong man but nevertheless would happened
