whats more weird that not once anandi thought of this...is her daughter immortal or she herself is made of strong steel that won't let any harm come to her?

I'm not talking about the safety of the child actors, that scene was too graphic , violent & disturbing...sigh how desperate can these people get for numbers.

Shakher family cannot be blamed in this (I find people criticise Shakhers for everything). They have not seen bal-vivah, they don't know the danger involved in stopping a bal-vivah. Anandi knew everything, still she went there with a little child. How and why we should blame Shakhers? Why we expect Shakher family also go rushing to the village as soon as they heard that Anandi was going there to stop a child marriage? The track is ridiculous. Only if Anandi stayed near police or shut herself with the child in her car, she would not have lost her daughter. But then the child could have been shot in guns crossfire or may have been snatched when Anandi and sarita were stopped by lathi/gun wielding men and marriage was being performed (before arrival of police).

The only difference that Shiv's existence would have made is Anandi would have called him and he would have immediately rushed to the place, and would have made sure that Anandi and Nandini are at safe place.

Shiv's presence may not have made a difference had they showed this track in a more logical way, but the way they showed it, Shiv being there would have helped for sure.

@TM agree with you on Anandi's condition after Shiv.. The strong Anandi that I really wanted CVs to show after Shiv is nowhere seen.. CVs are really confused about Anandi's story after Shiv's exit.

No, they could have done this kidnapping even if Shiv were alive. Amol got kidnapped in Udaipur itself. They could have made it like Anandi could not contact Shiv - or he may be out of city or any such thing.

There is a difference between Amol's kidnapping and Nandini's kidnapping situations. Any child can be abducted from school. But yeah, there is a possibility that they could have sent Shiv away from city.

Amol's kidnapping also was ridiculous. School entrances are never deserted like that - no children, no parent, no teacher was there.

It happened many a time in the story with Anandi as well as Shiv

We miss Shiv and Anandi misses Shiv but that doesn't mean it wouldn't have happened if Shiv had been around

BTW she did tell the family that she is going to stop child marriage they knew that Anandi was taking Nandini with her but other than saying it was risky they did nothing.
They didn't move their backsides off the sofa

If Shiv had been there he would have rushed to that place more than telling her what to do . He would have understood the urgency and would have been with her . If people know and understand Shiv they would know that . In spite of all that if this disaster was meant to happen to them it would have happened even with him . Yes it would have been little more difficult since he is a six feet tall strong man but nevertheless would happened

that's what i'm talking about...why should anandi wait for shekhars to think or act as if she herself cannot understand the risk she was putting her kid into by taking her to the venue? if shiv wouldn't have nay family then what? whom would have she called or whom would have guided her? it's ridiculous that a experienced woman like anandi needs someone else to think about the dangers of a situation

As you yourself said that she is experienced in dealing with child marriages she has already called police before she informed the family that she is going there and she doesn't have time.
How would she expect anything to happen to her with the police around?
By the way the she and the police did stop child marriage successfully.
It is that the man had snatched her kid for revenge purpose.
The man was bent on having revenge he would have followed her to her house and tried to harm her also because he was angry with her.
Social activists who deal with this kind of things are at risk
No where was she careless or foolish.
At every step she was thinking about her child's safety.
What would Shiv had done if they snatched his baby and made off with her in the way it had happened with Anandi?
It is Shekhars who felt she was putting her child at risk and yet sat at home and accepted her assurances.
Why did they accept her assurances?

I have not seen the episode and so do not have much to comment. But from the write-ups I want to say something. Yes Anandi wanted to save another child from a child marriage so she rushed headlong without any thought for her self and her child. Yes there are men and women out there who do that without thinking about their children. But what I find it unrealistic by the writers is that the mother will not think of securing her child safely before jumping into the midst. Whatever be the thing I am also a mother and my first instinct will be to protect the child and keep the child away from harm. Then get into the situation. You will first protect and make sure you have ammunition. Because for every human being self preservation is also important and for a mother the child is also important. I will not take my child to any situation where the danger can be. I do not even take her to my workplace. So to take her to the venue is little too unrealistic and very idealistic.
Because I know idealistic people but I also know that they do all to protect their children from danger and keep them away from their activities. So what Anandi has done is good but CVs have taken it overboard with their unrealistic portrayal.

Anyway the CVs are overboard with the unrealistic track of kidnapping the child for bal vivah in order to bring back their theme of the serial. Whereas they had such a beautiful track of showing Anandi's struggles as a single mom with her kids. How the kids react to being brought up fatherless and how they become the strength. They could have beautifully shown that you do not need a Man always to solve your problems. And Anandi with her patience her strength and her 3 angels in her life how she proceeds to balance out between family and career.

But no the CVs wanted drama and unnecessary drama and so brought this in.

@Bold this is what we expected to be shown but instead in their eagerness to revisit the theme of the show they butchered it.
At least they could have shown the baby being kidnapped for revenge purpose and show how Anandi fights to get her child back
After all social activists and social reformers do make a lot of enemies during the course of their work.It wouldnot have been un realistic if her kids have been targeted by these disgruntled elements.
The same thing could have been shown differently even if they wanted child marriage for Nandini
