Animal Cruelty Prevention Day.

Animals everywhere in the world are a victim to cruelty

But some cruelty happens in our streets, close to out homes to such loving domestic animals such as cats and dogs.

Cruelty which happens to supposedly a "man's best friend."

If dogs truly were a man's best friend, than they wouldn't be:

1.) Tied up with more than one bulky chain. Big chains, can suffocate a dog, and when removed can leave a very visible mark.

2.) Pushed to fight.

Contrary to what some people believe, it is NOT in a dog's nature to fight for no reason.

So much cruelty is involved in dog fighting. Dogs are tortured to make them aggressive. Fighting dogs usually live on chains their whole lives.

3.) Left tied up outside for a long time in the heat…or left in the car for a long time in the heat.

So much for "best friend." 🤔

Today is a day, where we memorialize the animals that have lost their lives because there were not enough good homes and not enough good people out there.

But then on the side where the grass is greener, there are also people who love their pets and truely do care for them.

So today, we also pay tribute to the noble people who devote their lives to stop the tragic tide of animal cruelty and abuse.

They've been there when we came home from work tired, they've been there to cheer us up. Those little enthusiastic fellows...wagging their tails. And what about those little fluff-balls who purr 😛 cute and cuddly..

But now they need our help...

I cannot bear the fact that there are some CRUEL people in the world that like to abuse animals and they enjoy it !!! 😡

I love animals so much, there god's creatures, sent from heaven... 😳

They mean no harm at all, they're so cute !!! 😛

I'm already paying 2.00 a month for the RSPCA, (prevention of cruelty to animals) and I have adopted a doggy as well 😳 ...

I just wish those sick people get a life !!! 😡🤢🤢

Its nice to see I-F taking a special step to keep everyone around more informed about cruelty to animals 😊 ...Its not just torture against pets that one needs to prevent, but also against stray animals & wildlife 😭 ...I think each one as responsible human beings can take one little step to help animals in whatever way we can!! 😊 God has given them a right to share our world as well...how then can humans be so insensitive to the feelings of animals?

I'm sure quite a few members here have pets, while quite a few are also contributing financially to Organizations like the RSPCA 😊 ...let's also join in to do our bit for stray animals (maybe we could try feeding them to start off with) 😊 and voice our opinions against torture to our wildlife 😊 (poachers have left so much of our wildlife on the verge of extinction 😭 )...

There's so much we humans can learn from animals...the way they bond...communicate...make a team effort and unite... 😊 So please stand up for what's right and prevent cruelty to animals in whatever best manner possible... 😊

well, i don't have a dog... but thank god that all the people in my neighborhood and all my friends dont treat their pets like that!! 😳

Great post but as well as the animals do not harm any human been for any reason then we should take care of them too😳 but we should also not forget about the innocents kids who got killed or hurt by them😡

Well just would say that people who abuse the animals should stop that unless if the animal is trying to hurt somebody for no reason😛

I don't hate animals but just dislike their behavior😊

Even Animals are living like us, they are just like us humans, a living thing!

A human who abuses animals wouldn't like it if someone higher then them abused them.!!

Yes we need to have compassion for the fellow beings..that is the basic rule to be followed by any living creature....

First thing an individual can do as his/her contribution is STOP EATING NON VEGETARIAN Food! This does'nt mean vegetarians are compassionate fellows...but eating some variety of creatures as food and showing compassion for some variety of creatures is just hypocrisy😊.........STOP eating NON vegetarian food and respect the fellow living creatures😊

Well, just like some others members on I-F, im a total animal lover, and I use to have a dog in India.. but unfortunately he died... anywayyy I want a dog..and I think imma get one.. but not this year.. most prolly next year. 😊
