13.02.2015 - Love in a Clinic - V-Day in a Dentist's Coat and a Veshti

I'm soo soo sorry I couldn't post yesterday's episode...However, I'm posting what I'd written yesterday...for those who want to gush unlimited over IshRa romance...😊Im starting in reverse order...even though it might not make sense...coz I have to first GUSH ABOUT what literally swept ME off MY feet☺️

Its quite late at night when Ishita gets a call from the clinic...The receptionist informs her of an emergency case at the clinic...She throws a glance to the side of the bed, sees 'Raman' sleeping...and quitely hops out of the bed, gets ready and drives to the clinic...

Right from the minute she entered the clinic to the time she put on her gloves to the time she tried to calm down the 'crying kiddo patient' all that SHE heard and I heard was the OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD child was screeching insanely...But guess who the patient is? Its a tall well-built main in a gauzy veshti standing with his back to the door...As the crying continues, the man turns around to face our dentist...I LITERALLY thought it was someone trying to get even with her or something...But all the suspense was built up - For Valentine's...for IshRa's Wedding Anniversary...

My my! The small cramped clinic was decorated beautifully with candles flaming bright, red petals strewn strategically, and a general air of some MAD LOVE hovering in the surgical atmosphere.."Raman?" Ishita is shocked...and yet, cant stop grinning...Sooo sooo crazy...so beautiful...Ohh...What DO I gush about? About how the rose petals fell from above full-PHILLUMI style...straight from COUNTLESS Hindi movies (one being, Akshay Kumar starrer Khiladi)...or how he bored into her eyes and drank in the naughty, questioning glint in his wifey's eyes...OR how he held her poore hak se, by her shoulders and pulled her close to him...How Ishita could JUST NOT stop smiling...blushing...trembling with romance washing crazy over her...how Raman could not stop himself from wearing that smug yet happy grin...satisfied with the outcome of his 'venture'

He took off her coat...and the gloves..I especially SWOONED OVER the gloves bit, as he took off one of the other, silkily...and then with the descent of the rose petals from somewhere up above, he gifted his wifey one rose, after the other...all replete with heartfelt Thank Yous..."Thank You meri zindagi mein aane ke liye...Thank You mujh jaise kudhkudh kumar ko jhelne ke liye...Thank You Ruhi ki Ishima banne ke liye...Thank You for accepting my crazy family...Thank You mujhe yeh ehsaas dilane ke liye ki main zinda hun"

Haye...Raman ko romantic lines bolte huey sunke main DOOB RAHI THI😃...taking skinny dips in the pools of his obvious charm...And this is ALL becoz Ishita complained sometime ago that he never finds time for her...that he's always busy and caught up with work...My my! Pati aisa ho toh complain karne ka kitna fayda ho jata hai

I ESPECIALLY swooned over that bit, where Ishita smelled the roses...taking in the scent of her husband's love and touching the bunch lightly with her lips..."Haye...In phoolon ki kya KISMAT hai" Raman sighed...MY GOD...I was waiting with bated breath...for that 'The' moment, which, SADLY, never came...I MORE THAN HALF EXPECTED Ishita to cave in and go for a GLORIOUS, UNUSUAL FIRST KISS...Nahin hua Doesnt matter...Jo hua...usi mein meri jaan nikal gayi...They hugged, all 'chhees and kudkud kumars' aside! Splendid!

"Tum bhool gayi thi naa?" He teased her...

"Marne wale din ko kaun bhool sakta hai' Ishita shot back playfully...

And as they argue, Raman eagerly asks her for HIS gift..she says it would be a surprise for him...he teased her saying she better be careful this time, coz last time, her surprise' had the WHOLE FAMILY in tow for their special date'...He is specific he wants ONLY the two of them to spend time together this time around...

Bahut time se soch raha hun...BOL HI DUN..." he deliberately pauses, Ishita, looking at him expectantly, her breathing stopped for a few seconds...

"Maine kafi time se watchman aur receptionist ko rok ke rakha hai...ab chalen" Raman grinned his best and most charming devil grin...

Apparently, the kid crying like a banshee was Shravu crying at some opportune moment when Raman thought he could record the same and use it for future reference...

Now, to the other less-colourful yet heart-warming bits...

Adi has left the Bhalla House...but then Amma has left no stone unturned in giving him a warm welcome..and ensuring a comfortable stay at Iyer house...She goes to meet Toshi ji and informs her that she prepared dosa for him, which he ate quite happily..."Par Adi toh chicken ke bina khana hi nahin khata..."

"Sorry...MERE gar mein Non-Veg allowed nahin hai" "Agar usko chicken khana hai, toh usko daadi ke paas aana hoga" I always lap up the Samdhin bonding with every bit of sentimental bone in my body...Jaate jaate, Amma suggests Toshi ji could send her haath-ka-banaya chhole puri for her grandson...The samdhins hug and cry and have a FULL-BLOWN Karan Johar moment

Shagun and Romi continue to have their dirty confrontations, with Romi wearing a hoodie and trying to stalk her and steal her handbag and stuff...OF COURSE he doesn't care anymore if Shagun spills the beans...and I sincerely WISH he'd actually have the guts to tell his family the truth...then...as HE predicts, it wont be much time before his Ishita Bhabhi would take Shagun right back to the kacchra bin where she picked her up from...

Pammi Aunty's kept her word and come down to visit the Bhallas with the would-be-dulha's sister and bro-in-law in tow...They apparently happened to feast on Rinki's pictures from Vandu's godh-bharai ceremony...all I found interesting in that scene was Dimple, who still has NOT got rid of her heavily accented Hindi speaking skills, which were overused in Miley Jab Hum Tum (an erstwhile Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal starrer show that I used to go crazy over)...but maybe, cz she's an NRI...they made her Hindi sound HORRIBLE...

Raman and Ishita defend Rinki's decision of not marrying so soon...however, in the wake of Romi Impotency and Theft scandal, they might as well ship her off to an affluent NRI before people get a whiff of what's going on...Toshi ji's even given the responsibility to IshRa to find a good match for Rinki...

I also liked how Appa and Bhalla ji bonded over IshRa's wedding anniversary...na unke bete bahu ko neend aa rahi hai na UNHE...Nice...On one hand, IshRa, while bonding over late-night chai in mud tumblers, planned to deliberately fight in front of the family members, so as to make THEM think they've forgotten their anniversary and prolly are not in a mood to spend the day together...This is ALL in a bid to have some Quality Time' together..and I wuldnt mind it if they grab each other at the hip and go all over each other and feel each other's skin...BUT...since this is a Sanskaari SHOW...I might as well ATLEAST expect them to hold hands and be kissi-kissi with each other

The Bhallas are NO LESS...They've planned to DELIBERATELY IGNORE IshRA and pretend they don't remember their anniversary...

LET'S SEE...Kya hota hai...😛

P.S. Another scene to watch out for, is the one where IshRa are standing in the parking lot of the apartment (I guess)...a slight breeze is in the air..and they reminisce their moments together...right from the time they got married...Raman's formulating a plan for getting some privacy together...Ishita just cant stop grinning and looks deliriously happy...I gorged over, and parked my whole heart in this scene😛

Question, I actually thought when Ishita looked over at the bed as she was leaving for the clinic I saw two piles. I think it was both Ruhi and Raman sleeping there. So this should answer the weirdness about them sleeping on the same bed while nothing was happening. It's actually what I assumed was happening since Adi moved in, that Ruhi was sleeping with them since he was in her room. But ab kya? He left, why is she still there. And now more importantly when Ruhi isn't there is ishita still couch bound?? Question about sleeping arrangements still open in my mind.

And last thing about this ep, loved the moment of Rinki rishta visit, Ishra were sitting so close together on that 1.5 person chair. So normal like a married couple. Loved it.
