Deepika Padukone beats all her contemporaries!

No, its not about the films or their box office collections...

Deepika Padukone has become a trend setter of sorts. Be it her films or her endorsements she continues to do things which are out of the orbit. Recently the ace actor came on board as the brand ambassador of the sports brand Nike.

The brand is known for having leading sports persons from across the world as ambassadors and this is the first time they have a Bollywood celebrity on board. Being a badminton player herself Deepika has a very high sports connect. She often talks about sports and is also well connected in the fraternity.

The brand did an extensive survey before taking this decision. It was a big step for them as they would be altering their policy and were initially apprehensive to change their stance. However, after much discussion the sports brand felt that Deepika brings on board the perfect connect and glamour. She currently has highest youth connect amongst audiences at large.

They will be peddling the campaign on Deepika thorough out the World Cup. The brand personally also adds to Deepika's brand kitty. She endorses 16 brands and yet this one is a big win.

Last year, Deepika also started her clothes line with another brand. She always tries to do things a little differently. Deepika has three big releases lined up this year. She has wrapped up the shoot of Piku and is currently busy with the shoot of Tamasha. She will soon start shooting for Bajirao Mastani.

LMFAO what kind of title is that, her PR needs to give it a rest.
Good she bagged an endorsement but it's just Nike not a Chanel so her PR needs to calm down, no one else were desperate for it like her PR is portraying it here lol

well, i am not a fan of any specific actress per se...

but people should understand that the brand NIKE is huge compared to chanel or camel or whatever...😆 don't make a fool out of yourself. Probably, the ratio of population (indians or worldwide) who knows NIKE to Chanel is 10:1.

Urm. it's quiet clear that Deepika's current target is Sonam but the article is such a fail because I really don't think Sonam could be bothered about this, it's not like she is endorsing chanel, something sonam is after lol
good for her she got it, but her PR is making it look like as if all actresses were desperate for this endorsement deal lol

I'm surprised to see why the title of the story has offended some members here. This is how the titles are these days and supposed to be as well in order to be a eye catcher. Few days back there was a news that Katrina Kaif beats Deepika to be most searched google celebrity..It was not Katrina kaif is most searched google celebrity. So what's wrong with this?

Good for Deepika and looks like any article even the sanest on Deepika has started offending people... C'mon if Sonam bags a Loreal ad, or Katz does a ad with ARK, it's not a big deal and not a work of PR, but any article on Dips is a PR work... It's getting a little over used now... Give it a break... Dips, Anushka, Katz... All are good in their own way... Sonam, that's a diff story lol...
