Why do you think Chak De India flopped in

Pakistani and Bangladesh audience ignored the people thinking it will be against their country. Which is quiet stupid where CDI promos didn't tell that.

One reason like Saba said was because of the title...Chak De India....which meant that the movie was mainly for Indians and maybe cauz of that Pakistani's and non-Indians probably refused to watch the movie...and I agree that like other ppl have said before that it would have been safer if the movie was titled Chak De...and India should have been kept out of the film's name


Also its unfortunate that the audience only wants to see SRK romancing and doing love/romantic movies....i would have loved to watch CDI, but since it didnt play in any theatre closer to my city i couldnt go watch it....because finally SRK was playing a role that required him to do no romance or run around the trees and say mushy dialogues...it's good to see SRK essaying the role of Kabir Khan a determined hockey coach, but unfortunatly the overseas audience didnt like him or didnt want to see him in this role...

So i guess the main reason for CDI doing mad over-seas is because of India being in the title and because SRK was playing a role which is very different from his orginial lover-boy image

by the way....in your option you have mentioned "Paki-bashing"....did the film really have any Paki-bashing in it?

I don't think audience have any problems the role srk played in CDI. But many thought it is against neighbor countries. Such low figures of Overseas was quiet surprising of Srk movie. But i am happy atleast it's becoming a huge hit in India. which matters the most.

CDI doesn't bash any countries. It's made in right spirit. it's a must-watch movie and leaves a beautiful message.

Becoz end main pata hota hai kei india jeet jai ghaa... 😕

But it should matter how well the movie is made. Abviously everyone knew who will win. Atleast it's not against any countries. There is nothing wrong india's making songs Salaam India, i don't see boring at all. I would say whoever ignore to watch the movie, it's their loss.
