Kalpana (In Pain) : Will u stop tightening ur grip around my other arm ?? It pains and I don't want my other arm to get injured too. Seriously, u're worse than those beasts...
Damn.. There goes it.. I've let it slip out... Now, I am never gonna hear the end of it..
Raghav (shouts) : What !!!!!!!
Kalpi (Covering her ears) : Shushhh.. Dnt shout.. I can hear very well..
Raghav : Shut Up !!!!!!
Kalpi : Ok.
Raghav : How did that happen to ur arm ??
Kalpi : Why should I tell you ??
Raghav : Becoz I am ur master.
Kalpi : So ???
Raghav : SO u SHOULD tell me EVERYTHING..
Kalpi : But y this ?
Raghav : Becoz u are under me and u r my responsibility.. Now will you bloody tell me what the bloody hell happened to you ???
Kalpi : Say, I dnt mind u using this language with anyone else, but if u are using it wid me, then I have a right mind to smack u upside down..
Raghav (shouting) : That's not the problem, u fool.. Tell me, what happened to ur arm..
Kalpi : Ok ok... I went into the jungle..
Raghav : What !!!????!!!
Kalpi : Stop shouting will you !! U're making me deaf..
Raghav : Why did you go to the jungle ??? I told u its dangerous.
Kalpi : I wanted to take a walk and so I went there.
Raghav caught my hand and pulled me along with him ignoring my protests. He dragged me down and knocked on Mistress's door..
Kalpi : Why are u knocking on Mistress's door ?
Raghav : Will u shut up for a few minutes ??
Kalpi : But...
Raghav : Chup !!!!!
Mistress's silky and smooth voice could be heard from inside asking us to come in.. Raghav went in first.. Mistress smiled seeing him..
Neetu : Raghav.. U here ?? What a pleasant surprise !!
Raghav : Not now, Neetu ..
Neetu : What happened, Raghav ??
I peeked from behind at Neetu.. Neetu looked at Raghav and asked what the problem was..
Raghav : Emergency..
Neetu : What emergency, Raghav ??
Raghav pulled me from behind onto the front. Neetu looked at her and then at Raghav. Raghav removed the piece of cloth that held the injury harshly and I winced. It pained a lot.. Seriously this guy needs to know how to handle people. Raghav removed his hand from my arm and after a moment continued to remove it slowly. After removing it, he showed the arm to Neetu. Neetu's eyes went as wide as saucers. She came towards me and touched my injury. She shuddered for a minute and stepped back sitting on a couch. Raghav went towards her and put his arm around her asking her what happened with his eyes. Neetu looked at him wid anxious eyes and then looked at me. She gave a slight smile.. I was baffled. Why did she shudder !!!
Neetu : Uhh.. I have some important work to do.. Raghav, the first aid box is on the top shelf.. Miss. Kalpana, do take rest after taking medicine.. Kabir will tend to Raghav for the day..
Raghav : I dnt want anyone to tend to me.. Besides, I'll be leaving for the day since more important affairs are in hand..
At the last sentence, he looked at Neetu and nodded. Neetu nodded back at him and left. Raghav took the first-aid box and slowly applied the antiseptic on my arm. I closed my eyes in pain.. Raghav started a conversation inorder to divert her mind..
Raghav : Why did you go to the forest in the first place ?
Kalpi : I went to take a walk.
Raghav : Yes, but then, normally people don't do deep into the jungle for walks.. U seem like an abnormal being..
Kalpi (angry) : I am not abnormal.. My stole flew away so I went after it..
Raghav : Why do u always wear that damn thing ??
Kalpi (Defensively) : Hey.. That was my favourite stole..
Raghav (sighing) ; You could have lost ur life, u fool !!!
Kalpi : I know.. Bt I love my stole..
Raghav (observing her arm) : What did this to you ??
Kalpi : I dnt know..
Raghav (Warning tone) : Kalpana...
Kalpi : I really dnt know.. It was an animal.. They were some five to six. They were in a pack..
Raghav : How did they look ?
Kalpi : They were large, hairy, very fast and ferocious. They looked fierce and had very large teeth. They claw very well..
Raghav : And ??
Kalpi : And yeah.The most surprising thing was the beastr that clawed me stopped the other beasts from chasing after me.. And I think I saw one of the beasts widen its eyes at me..
Raghav went into deep thinking. His eyes were anxious and he was angry.. He knew what is was but then he didn't want to be over-confident that wht Kalpi told and wht he was thinking were the same.
Raghav : Miss. Kalpana.. U may go home..
Kalpi : But Sir, my shift is not yet over and my evil step-mom and step-sister would not let me in..
Raghav (surprised) : Evil step-mom and step-sister ?
Kalpi : Oops.. Did I just say tht ?? Plz dnt tell them I told this to u.
Raghav : No I won't.. But then..
Kalpi : Sir, can I just move around and do small things until my shift gets over ?? Please...
Raghav : Ok but be careful. I dnt want you to get into ur abnormal mode again such that when something of urs flies away, u go behing it flapping ur hands like a wingless chicken and shouting,"HEY COME BACK..
Kalpi : I dnt do that..
Raghav : Ur arm says otherwise.. Anyways, Kabir will be around to help you..
IN THE SINGHANIA MANSION..
Chahel, Shahanya and Neetu were sitting in the living room. Neetu was pacing around and the other two were looking at her..
Chahel : Neetu, stop pacing around and tell us what is the matter.. Why have u kept a meeting ?
Neetu : Not now, Dad. Let Raghav come..
Shahanya : But altleast u can start na ?
Neetu : No mom.. Let Raghav come.. He will also know..
At that exact time,Raghav came bursting through the front door almost breaking it..
Shahanya : Raghav !!!!! Be careful of the door...
Raghav : Seriously, something important is gonna happen here and u are worried about that damn door..
Chahel : Stop it both of you.. Neetu, now that Raghav has come, its time u tell what's going on..
Neetu : They're back...
Chahel : What ??? Who ???
Neetu : Our sworn enemies, Dad.. They are back..
Shahanya : Are you sure, Neetu ??? Maybe, u are mistaken..
Neetu : I am not, Mom. I woudn't lie about something as serious as this...
Chahel : How do you know, Neetu ?
Neetu : Raghav brought Kalpi to me. Her arm was injured. I touched her arm and immediately I saw wht happened and who clawed at her arm.. It is them.. Our enemies..
Raghav went to the punch wall and gave it a hard punch. Chahel stared at him expressionless, Shahanya covered her mouth with her hands and Neetu looked at him shocked..
Raghav : I should have killed them when I had the chance.. I did a big mistake by leaving them..
Chahel : Raghav.. Anger will take u nowhere. U need to calm down..
Raghav : Calm Down !!!!!! U know what they did to Akruti.. And yet u ask me to calm down !!!!!!!
Chahel : I understand Raghav.. We will handle this together..
Raghav : I dnt want anyone's help..
Chahel : You cnt fight this battle alone, Raghav..
By then, Raghav had gone up with his infinite speed into his room..
IN A SECLUDED PLACE...
A person was pacing around in a dark corner and then sat down on the couch.. Pompeii came around... A voice asked,"What news do u bring, Pompeii ?" Pompeii answered,"Master.. The girl who was along with Raghav on that drive was the girl that got clawed. Both are the same. Te man with the voice came closer to the light and his face is shown,"It is time we meet again, Raghav Singhania.. It is time revenge is taken and it is time old grudges are fulfilled. You will pay for letting my sister die, Raghav Singhania..."
Shoooshhh !!!! Another chapter comes to an end.. New secrets are revealed.. New characters are entering. And the story gets spookier from here.. So do stay tuned for more..
