MaNan's Fear---Part 18

Recap

Nandini comes out of unconscious n gets surprised seeing Fab5 around her.

With Alarm sound Manik wakes up around at 8pm...n goes to bring some food for Nandini n himself...n goes inside the hospital

Manik meets Chachi in hospital...

Manik:Chachi aap ghar jayiye...

Chachi:Par Nandu...Abhi interrupts

Abhi:Buaji...Manik hai na...woh rahega Nandini ke saath

Manik:Haa Chachi...waise bhi Rishab akela hai Chacha ke saath...raat me uske saath rehna bhi zaroori hai na

Chachi:Haa woh bhi hai...par Nandu

Manik:Chachi...trust me...main hun na...i ll take care...

Chachi:Theek hai

Abhi:Chaliye Buaji ...main aapko chod deta hun ghar...

Manik n Abhi exchanges a look saying thanq n welcome...

Manik slowly enters into the room where Nandini was sleeping like a baby...

He feels good when he sees her sleeping with a peace...He sits besides her leaning on the bed n looking at her face...Meanwhile Doc comes in for regular checkup.

Manik comes out along with Doctor after her checkup...

Manik:Doctor...How is she...

Doctor:Yes she is fine...

Manik:But why she is not awake yet

Doctor:Its just bcz of sedatives n she is so weak too...so she is sleeping more than others that's it

Manik:s everthing K or u r hiding something Doctor...

Doctor:No nothing to worry...she ll getup...she ll have to stay for some more time so that we can observe her n after 24hrs we tell u that when we can send her home.

Manik simply nods his head saying K...

Doctor leaves n Manik goes back to room

As he enters he finds Nandini struggling to reach glass of water kept on side table n was about to fall bcz of weakness...Manik reaches n holds her...makes her sits on bed properly n looks at her angrily.

Nandini makes a puppy face n says in low voice:I was thirsty ...

Manik makes her drink water as her arms n wrists were bandaged ...she was still dizzy bcz of medicines

Manik takes out the food which he bought but nurse comes in with food...Manik says I have bought food so its not needed n asks her to leave...

Nurse:But Sir its not healthy for the patient

Manik gets angry hearing the word patient:Nandini...her name is Nandini

Nandini:Manik...Calm down

Manik calms down looking at Nandini

Nurse:But sir...

Manik calmly tells the nurse:That he bought healthy soup from home n this is specially made for her knowing her condition.

Nurse looks at him helplessly...

Manik:K fine...the thing u bought I ll eat but let Nandini have this soup.

Nurse leaves from there leaving that food there.

Nandini:Manik...what was that

Manik:Nandini plz don't argue n have this...

Manik eats a spoon of hospital food n spits it...

Nandini gets shocked:What happened...

Manik:I was right...accha hua tumhe khane nahi diya...tumhe pata hai ye kitna bakwaas hai.

Nandini:Manik patients ko aisa hi khana dete hai...

Manik looks at her angrily...

Nandini understands:I mean jo yaha admit hote hai ye unke liye hai...

Manik:I don't know all that chalo lets eatwhat I bought...

Manik places a small eating table on bed n places the soup on it...n Manik turns back to take out the spoons...Meanwhile Nandini tries to arrange the things properly but she feels pain.

Manik suddenly turns back hearing that bursts out

Manik:R u mad...Cant u wait...

Nandini:Manik u were doing all this how can I sit n do...n I know u r not habituted to all this

Manik:Nandini u really like to piss me off right

Nandini nods head saying no...

Manik:then stay quite...

Nandini gets upset seeing Manik's rude behaviour

Manik places everything n asks her to eat...she looks aside in anger

Manik:Ab kya hua

Nandini:Kyu gussa sirf tumhe aasaktahai

Manik feels bad...:Sorry...plz Nandini look at me...kuch khalo...

Nandini looks at his sad face n tries to lift her hand to it but she finds it difficult bcz of bruises...

Manik holds her hand n places it properly...n starts feeding her

Nandini gets surprised looking at Manik's this side...they silently finishes their food looking at each other n Manik cleanseverything from bed n sits besides her

Nandini looks at Manik who was silent from long time

Nandini:Manik...

Manik:mmm

Nandini:Kya hua...

Maniklooks at her:Nothing...

Nandini:then y r u so silent...

Manik:Baat karu toh problem na karu toh problem

Nandini gives a look to him

Manik:I m sorry...Nurse enters into the room to give medicines to Nandini

Nurse gives medicines n a injection to Nandini n leaves...

Manik makes Nandini lie on the bed n sits beside her bed

Nandini:Manik what happened tell me or else I ll not talk to u

Manik looks at Nandini :Don't ever do that...

Nandini:Then tell me...

Manik feels guilty about whatever happened n was not able to take the fact that she is lieing on the hospital bed only bcz of him...he wanted to hug her tight n feel that she is alright but her bruises n wounds were stopping him from doing so...

Nandini:Maanniiikk...look at me

Manik:I hate myself for not being with u when u needed me...today u r here only bcz of me...

Nandini:Ssshhh...

Manik:Let me say Nandini...i cant b so reckless,so irresponsible...u were right we r toxic

Nandini puts her hand on his mouth even being in pain she struggles to reach n stop him saying that...

Nandini:No Manik...it was my mistake that I became weak n was fallen apart looking at u in that condition bcz at that tiem v both behaved stubbornly but now its not like this na...

Manik takes off Nandini's hand n holds it with both his hands

Manik:And now I understood why u walked away...

Nandini:Maanniik...

Manik:ssshhh...let me finish...today I want to apologise for each n every atupid thing I did...

Nandini interrupts Manik n asks him to come near

Manik gets surprised n was worried that why she stopped him in between ...

Manik:Kya hua Nandini...is it hurting ...shall I call doctor

Nandini nods her head n calls him near...Manik comes near...

Nandini:Aur nazdik...

Manik: kuch bolna hai...

Nandini nods her head...Manik bends down putting his ear to listen what Nandini wants to say...

She lifts her head up slowly...n kisses on his cheek...Manik looks at her in shock...n stays there in same position facing her

Nandini answers him in simple words:I will never walk away again,Nandini promise...

Manik gives a smile n feels relieved ...he cups her face n kisses her forehead...

Manik:Now u sleep...

Nandini:Manik u go home...n take rest...i m fine

Manik:U really think so...

Nandini:Manik please...Manik interrupts her...

Manik:Just now u promised that u ll not walk away but u r asking me to go...n u really think that I ll go...Dont make me angry n sleep

Nandini makes a puppy face:Tum hamesha mujhe daante kyu ho

Manik:Kyun ki tumhe normal baatein samaj nahi aati...

Nandini closes her eyes n goes to sleep...

Manik sits beside her n falls asleep sitting beside her bed ...leaning his head on the bed... he also sleeps peacefully bcz his guilt was taken away by Nandini ...

Nandini starts recovering...n Doctor says that they ll discharge her next mrng
