Ughhh I am frustrated because today's episode could have been brilliant with some better writing and out of the box thinking, they dealt with some very serious issues of professional vs personal relationships, a child's upbringing, role of step mother in a child's life and finally the monetary relationship of a couple.
I am happy that they are talking about these issues in a prime time desi show but it saddens me to see the lack of emotional depth and lack of sensitivity in dealing with such delicate issues.
I liked that:
Ishita stood up for her husband in front of her mom, asking her to trust her husband and his parenting skills. I liked how she told her politely to stay out of it as this is between herself and her husband, more importantly stay out of appa's office work. Finally a pragmatic Ishita.
I liked the conversation between Raman and Appa, I could see his dilemma at trying to achieve that professional vs personal balance. I felt for him as he is between a rock and a hard place, on one hand he knows that Ishita has every right to know about his monetary health and on the other hand he needs to prevent Appa (read amma here) making professional mattes personal.
I liked Toshiji's maternal instinct, Romi needs some tender loving care and it was nice to see Romi trying to find solace in his mom's lap.
What I disliked,
Ishita has a right to question the unnecessary spending on Shagun and Adi but this conversation should have been between a husband and a wife. Ishita has no right to question Shagun over Adi's upbringing because like it or not Shagun is Adi's parent. Even though they money being spent is Raman's, Ishita was wrong in questioning Shagun's parenting. Ishita grow your brain back and TALK to your husband.

Romi is a smart cat so I cannot believe that he is falling for Shagun's crap, this is the same guy who framed Bala, Mihika and irrespective of him drinking during Navratri he managed to have Toshi yell at Ishita. Romi can outwit anyone so it's stupid to see his character fall for Shagun's trick, it is sloppy writing and very uncharacteristic.
Regarging Shagun #facepalm

This will be over soon ladies! I have faith! I believe!
