Pritam won 25 lakhs and after taxes its less than 18 lakh rupees. That's like $30 thousand dollars.

That's not a whole lot of money. In facts its nothing. 🤔

Arre... but he made $$ from staying in the BB house for 19 weeks, right? It's probably more than what he usually makes.

Also, I doubt that most of them came to BB for the $$. Apart from money, they got a lot of fame too, right? And an opportunity to show off their "talent" without bhatkoing at various auditions.

They stayed 5 months in the house, I am sure they have earned much more. And it's still better than nothing... Someone like Karishma who got babaji ka thullu. Though she got a lot of money too. 😆

Well he hasn't been earning 8 lakh rupees per week contrary to what people believe here. The actual figure is very less. I do agree that when you add up total amount its not too bad but for a game show like BiggBoss paying 50 lakh and 25 lakh to winners is laughable.

When you compare it to other reality shows the amount is measly even for global powerhouse like endemol. Winners from game shows in north america routinely win upwards of 4-5 million dollars

18 lakhs is enough money for a middle class guy in India. He also has his money from the stay in there.

It's not like he's out of a job. I'm sure now that he's a celeb he'll also get a lot more money as an RJ.

And like the MuguetDscorpion above said it's better than no money like KT.

I think except KT they have all walked out better than they were before.

GG has the money and loads of fans.

Dimpy and Ali have a new found fame.

Pritam has money and new fame.

KT has her weekly pay but lost her BF, her friends, her reputation and lost a lot of goodwill among the influential lot in the industry.

Depends on what the game show is. I don't know of any shows that offer 4-5 million. Which shows are you talking about? Average is 500,000 maybe.

And in any case, they will get more $$ for all the interviews and all that now, right? I heard GG is going on comedy nights.. so he'll probably make $$ through that. GG, especially, can really cash in on his new found popularity if he plays fast and smart.

True! The winner of survivor in the US makes about 3.5 to 4 crore Indian Rupees on winning. But they get paid a measly sum on a weekly basis.

If you take into account their weekly pay then these guys in BB make a lot more. They don't make as much as 8 lakhs, not all of them atleast, but the minimum is about 4 to 5 lakhs. Also they get a lot of money under the table in black. No one in the entertainment industry is paid in all legal cash.

BTW Imam said that Ratan Rajput from last year got 75 lakhs in total and she was barely there for a few weeks.

Also they have a signing amount handed to them before they even enter. KT, GG and PP have made more than 5 to 6 crores for sure, at the least.
