As for Alia's love life, I think all of it at this point is media/tabloid speculation. Only thing she herself has talked about is the boyfriend from high school who apparently dumped her when she started SOTY. As far as I know anyway. Her trip with Sid last week and this alleged birthday trip (there is no evidence at this point that she's with him) is the closest the media has come to getting anything right regarding her social life.

I don't know why the assumption is being made that this is PR of anyone's. I think this is tabloids making up a story out of two friends hanging out and going to parties together. I think sometimes we get so caught up in the PR argument that we forget that tabloids are a vicious illogical and yet very creative mediums that will publish anything for a hit on their sites.
