Swara cuts her birthday cake. Aditya wishes her. Meghan shows up at their place & tries to meddle in-between their private celebration. Aditya is shocked to see Meghan at his house & is confused as to how she knows Swara. Meghan gifts Swara an expensive watch. She also returns Swara's case history file to Aditya & taunts him for keeping her a secret.
At the police station, Kabir tries to figure out who could have killed Prateek & what could be the murderer's motive. He suspects Lavanya & Kushan. But then he also considers the possibility of the involvement of a 3rd, unknown individual, who may be connected to Prateek's past.
Aditya goes to meet Meghan at her house & confronts her on why she stole Swara's file like that. Meghan smirks proudly & says that she wanted to catch his attention.
Kabir visits Swaika house & asks to meet Amrita. Amrita says that she's running late for a meeting & therefore can't sit & talk to him. Kabir offers to drop her to the office & meanwhile discuss the case on the way as well. Amrita agree and leaves with him. Trisha quietly notices this. In the car, Kabir enquires about Prateek's past & how he got married to Amrita. She recalls that Prateek befriended her, even though she belonged to the middle class. And then they fell in love and got married. Kabir asks if he had any previous girlfriends before their marriage. Amrita says that she's unaware of that. She tells him to ask either Gaurav or Lavanya.
At the Grewal house, Kushan smirks at Lavanya since her plan to become CEO failed. They openly exchange taunts at the breakfast table, on how they won't let the other win. Meghan isn't around so Kushan doesn't behave insanely.
It is learnt that Swara is a scriptwriter who writes & emails scripts for a living. Aditya enquires about her latest script. She shares that it's regarding medical negligence & how doctors can risk patients' lives if they aren't careful. Aditya grows nervous & excuses himself.
Kabir visits Dr Varsha. He talks about how Amrita is such a strong woman & how even after being widowed, she is looking after his husband's company. Varsha checks his blood pressure & keeps inflating the cuff around his arm. Kabir tells her to stop when it hurts him. She apologizes. Kabir tells Varsha that he's ready to listen to her if anything is troubling her. He even promises to take her out for lunch.
The next morning, Aditya goes out for a jog with Trisha. He stops her & asks her again if she loves him. Trisha says that he'll have to work for it & propose in a romantic setting. Aditya agrees & tells her to meet him in the evening.
Kushan's doctor from the asylum visits him at home, for a check up. He's happy to see him healthy. Lavanya proposes that Kushan's mental health would improve if he's taken to the Swaika office where he used to work. The doctor agrees & asks her to remain with him at all times. When the doctor leaves, Kushan enquires what is she plotting now. She replies that it was his dream to make his own position at the Swaika office & now she wants to fulfill his dream. Kushan disagrees & says that with time, his dreams have changed. He tells her that his latest dream is to ruin her schemes & plans.
Kabir goes to Guarav to discuss Prateek's friends & girlfriends before marriage. Gaurav tells him that although Prateek and him never had mutual friends but he does recall the names of his close friends -Sushant, Sandy & Vishal.
Kabir takes Varsha out for lunch. She asks him if he'll ever consider remarriage. Kabir enquires if she herself would get married ever as it looks like she's had her heart broken. Varsha promises him that she will reveal her past to him but on some other day.
Lavanya takes Kushan to the board meeting. He pretends to be insane & plays video games while others discuss work. Amrita walks in & is shocked to see him there. Lavanya clarifies that the doctor suggested it will help with the recovery process. They go on with the meeting. Gaurav introduces the new architect, Mr Jalan who's been recruited to work on the university project. Jalan looks at the architectural plans (which were prepared by Kushan & sent to Amrita) & praises them. When no one is looking, Lavanya sets the trash can on fire. The board members exit the room as it fills with smoke. Lavanya sneakily takes away Kushan's architectural designs & throws them in fire too. Kushan catches her & tells her that he's got enough copies & he will send those to Amrita.
At the police station, Sharma reports that Prateek's friends from college, Sushant and Sandy have moved abroad. But Vishal, aka Fatty, resides in Mumbai.
At the Swaika house, Trisha gets ready to go meet Aditya. Meghan observes her & enquires where she's going. Trisha tells her that Aditya had proposed his love to her few days back and she's going to accept it today. Meghan is shocked. She checks Trisha's phone & reads the address where they are meeting. She goes to meet Aditya there before Trisha. It's an area in the park. Aditya has decorated it with lights all around and set up a table in the middle. Meghan tells him to come along with her. Aditya refuses. Meghan says that he will not propose to Trisha as she doesn't want him to. She tells him that she's learnt about his secret regarding Swara. When Swara had been hospitalized following the car accident, Aditya administered an injection at the wrong spot & that ended up crippling her. He's hidden this medical mistake of his' for 2 years but Meghan has learnt it now. She blackmails him & takes him away. Trisha arrives & looks for him. She calls him but Meghan grabs the phone & switches off his phone.
