Maqbool is his magnum opus. Omkara was mostly good because of Saif's Iago act but Maqbool is the best film overall.
Haider is probably his weakest adaptation but the way it explored Kashmir was brilliant. Bharadwaj really didn't get his due. He is phenomenal.

Mcqbool was exceptional...best movie of VB for me...Omkara was too good as well..Loved Saif, kankana and others.
Watched Haider few days back..The actors were brilliant the film and overall it was good too. But in comparison to other two movies this one is so-so

maqbool was the best
the 2nd half was extremely intense.
omkara was also very good
but i wish there were less songs in the film
the film could have been even better with
little editing. saif was marvellous as langda.
i liked haider a lot hard to decide
if i liked it more than omkara
omkara and haider on same level
haider dragged a little.
visually haider was very rich
kashmir's beauty!!!! tabu's eyes the way she emoted
even shahid was brilliant.
i liked the way shahid and tabu's characters
their relationship was shown without compromising
on the complexities of the original characters of hamlet.
i think adaption wise haider was stronger that way.
but as a film in totality maqbool is the best.

Off course Maqbool was the best as it was first of its kind and I was totally in awe of VB's work and his imagination as the amalgamation of Shakespeare and backdrop of Mumbai's underworld was almost perfect.
Omkara was okay and one of few movies where Saif has tried to play something different

Haider was extraordinary in its own way. Again the amalgamation of Hamlet and Kashmir politics's backdrop is phenomenal and absolute food for thought.

Hats off to VB!!!
