anyways coming to this week's episodes - i saw a changed gaurav. totally detached, commanding and extremely formal with the cadets. but it is good that the cadets r beginning to respect his authority. he is being blamed for being mean to capt. raj but as far as i can see both r victims of the same system.abhi believes in his views and so does raj. naturally neither will accept each other's thoughts. though i wish raj had explained the whole bloody thing to him instead of just saying i am innocent - i did not kill anyone - i am trapped. abhi though against killing is not an idiot. he understands and thinks a lot and maybe he can help raj out. but no things r not meant to be that way. and now we have gehlot manipulating abhi to help raj. abhi hates that influence gehlot has on raj especially and i guess won't give in. well let us see whether he helps his friend or not.
as far as his acting is concerned i think he is playing the character exactly as he is supposed to. he still trusts raj but there is a crack in their friendship which might remain forevers. so there was no intensity, no power ful emotions display when he asked raj to run away. he is sad and aware of the naveen situation and now raj is in the same trap. abhi being abhi is helpless and is unable to bear the facte that raj will undergo the same turmoil as naveen. abhi was naveen's officer on detention and he must have seen what torture naveen went thru and thus he knows that raj might face the same and gave him a chance to run away.
all i can say that he did his duty as a friend now let us see how he does his duty as an officer.

Hey Anu i think that you are right when you say that there was no intensity or powerful emotion because of the distances in their friendship... i didnt think of that... yes, that would explain a control over emotions... thanks for pointing it out... as usual, you've enhanced the analysis by what you've brought to it 😃

I missed yes'day's episode also but only later half…so I can comment on Abhi-Raj scene..as I saw it..but not complete.
I saw it where..raj says..that he believes in system & abhi says that he too believes in it..but not those who manipulates it.

Actually….i agree U shvetal where u said..that there was a deficit of struggle..but I don't think that deficit was due to Gaurav..but instead I felt…this was the shortcoming of whole scene. In reality..the whole scene led us nowhere..it was jerky. Parts of both actors had flaws.

Like in Abhi's part…the whole scene demonstrated a conflict …as a friend & as a authority. He asked him to run and thus..for one moment he undermined his strictness for complying rules over his friendship and at the same times..he asked him to run..just for running. I mean..he could hv convince him to run..but with little different motive. Not for running & hiding from punishment…but he could hv asked Raj that u go & search the evidences of ur innocence outside the academy…and I will stay in the academy & will try to tackle things as per my reach & we both will prove ur innocence. That could have established him as a friend in a better way… Because..it is unrealistic that one can run his whole life.

Similarly..in Raj's part..he acts stubbornly that he will not run. He could hv used logic that he can't prove his innocence just my narrating the whole incident to higher authorities without any proof. He will need proofs & obviously he can't find them sitting behind the bars. So..he should use this opportunity to run. Besides..he said that he would not run..because he believes in system…& here I completely disagree him. Because there hv been hardly any event when he demonstrated his trust in system and acted accordingly. Raj has been shown as a compliant person..who has always sorted things out on his own terms..and in his own ways but he never gave required priority to system..like ..he holded a meeting against the rules of system…and even did not tell the agenda of meeting. Why? If he believed in system.then he sh'd hv told that he is only trying to search Cl. Shakti..(and it was nothing illegal). Then..when Ali shot Rohit to death..(though in self defence)..he again suppressed matter..and didn't takt it to the system. He could hv proved him innocent through system. Had he done so..Ali would hv been saved from enduring that trauma..that he suffered because of guilty feeling of killing somebody.

I agree with almost everything that you are saying... just want to reiterate that i expect more from Gaurav, irrespective of how the scene is written.

I perfectly understand what you are trying to see...This scene where he asked Capt Rajveer to run... could be more intense, more memorable than it actually was. Considering that he is doing something against his duty while offering him to run away... two important things his duty and his friend and he is helpless in both. If he shows more emotional attachment while offering help to his friend, means that his personal relations are more important to him. If he only fulfills his duty , and says that you are the convict , so you shud be behind bars....means that he does not trust his friend... whom he actually trusts... as he says i know by heart that you cant do this... but as a soldier i have to abide by what i have seen and i wont be able to lie.

Now in this case...i saw a restrained body language, subdued expressions... because there is a conflict.

I understand what you are trying to say... but to see more of a struggle... I think an addition of extra scene would have been more helpful... where Abhi is struggling with his own conflict...and coming to terms with himself... that he does not to support this system who is convicting his friends... and is extremely helpless ... but again since the whole track is focussing on Capt Rajveer... so perhaps this important scene is missed out.

yes I also could see a lot of difference than the previous outdoor... glowing faces, managed hair and good makeup.

Yes I wish that they had a scene where they had shown Abhimanyu's conflict... would have meant one more Gaurav scene to analyse 😃

And you are right... its good make up that i keep calling good light... I am a complete idiot!

Congrats for coming on TV 👏 ... do tell us more about that experience 😳 😳 😳

Ok, now about the analysis... good.... but I dont agree to the part where u say that Abhi was distant...
I felt he was more friendly than many in the forum expected him to be...

When I saw the scene... I was kind of shocked... Abhi is asking Raj to run... but didnt he at all think what will happen if Raj gets caught? His punishment might get severe... how can he help his friend by letting him run away????
Anyways, Im glad Raj was intelligent enough not to heed Abhi's "friendly" advice... he stayed back and that will help Abhi to lie for him.
About Gaurav's expressions... I agree with u ... that stoniness was I feel because of the conflict going on in his mind... he wanted to believe his heart and wanted his head to stop shouting... "Raj killed Col. Shakti" ... that's why he was trying to stop his mind from acting and made his heart act for his best friend.

Thanks for the analysis... Im getting addicted to it 😉 😉

luv

Hi Kanak... thanks for the reply.

As for coming on tv, it was just some questions that i answered for the Lok Sabha channel about eve teasing... i agreed to do it since its a channel that i watch on and off... and i have realised that if you are going to come on tv, you should check your hair once... not assume that it must be behaving itslelf since morning 😆 😆

As for Abhi being more distant than people in the forum expected him to be, all i'll say is that Abhi has at no point of time done anything that would make people expect the worst from him... i know you too will disagree ... but i will state that Abhi has been a complex, multi layered role from day one but he has never been mean or hurtful... he is not the villain of this show, he is a conflicted character, thats all.

I do not think Abhi will lie for Capt Rajveer, though you never know.

Finally, addiction is not good for you... take a care girl! 😉 😆
