Both are star daughters (means free me Bollywood entry)

Both of their fathers were/are big stars of their time.

Both were quite fat before joining and had their first movie with Salman.

Sonam has done 11 movies in 7 years and Sonakshi has done 13 movies in 5 years.Sonam has 2 clean hits and Sonakshi have 5 clean hits(not counting their special appearances)

Both got critical acclaim last year with Raanjhana and Lootera respectively.

But Sonam isn't that great of an actress but her movies have a prominent female role and shows women as independent individual unlike Sonakshi who plays a stupid regressive 5 min role in her movies.But then,Sonakshi has successful career with her.Like this is what I read in an article-

'It's interesting to compare Sinha to another star kid with a pretty face, Sonam Kapoor. Had Kapoor chosen roles that required her to only bat her eyelashes and not display any acting skills, her films might actually have been easier to sit through because they wouldn't be as disappointing or frustrating. However, unlike Sinha, Kapoor has consistently chosen to play smart, independent-minded characters who have a role to play in the plot. (It's another matter that Kapoor has also massacred these parts because she is a singularly bad actor.)

Kapoor could have settled for being celluloid eye candy, but she's resisted that mould even though she doesn't appear to have the talent to back her choices. Unlike Sinha, she's pushing herself and even if it was a home production, the fact is Kapoor was the lead in Khoobsurat. Sinha might seem to be the more marketable heroine, but the choices she's made have crippled her professionally."

So Sonakshi is more marketable thanks to her hit movies,but Sonam plays more variations.Whom do you find better,or more tolerable?

Sonam. I like her chick flicks. As for Sonakshi she only has Lootera to speak of.

Putting all the off-screen drama aside, Sonam's movies and roles are so much better than Sonakahi's. I'll take Sonam's full-fledged and fun roles over Sonakshi's tortourous and shitty roles any day. For Sona, it doesn't even look like she cares about her movies/roles or something. All she wants is a Prabhu Deva's dance number and 100crore ka thappa. Spare me the horror please. 🤪

Sonam anyday. Her movies are easy watch and she is much more pleasing to watch on screen. Sonakshi has the figure of Farida Jalal and her roles are like guest appearances. Except Lootera none of her films are hits because of her.
Sonam carries her films even if they are not big hits because she doesn't act with big name heros in masala films.
