Arjun's next with mentor
Looks like Arjun Kapoor is all set to reunite with his mentor, Aditya Chopra. After debuting with Aditya's home production, Ishaqzaade (2012), the actor went on to star in two more films under the same banner. Now, we've been informed that Arjun has bagged yet another project with Aditya's company, and work on it will begin mid-year.
A friend of the actor reveals, "Arjun has not been taking on films of late, as he has signed a project with Aditya, which will require a sizeable chunk of his dates. It's well known in the industry, although an official announcement hasn't been made yet. But right after Tevar releases, the two will take the discussion forward."
It seems the film will feature Arjun in a very different role. The insider reveals, "It's going to be unlike any other film that he has done with the banner till date. Aditya and Arjun are excited about this reunion. In fact, Aditya has even seen his performance in Tevar and praised it."
We've also been told that Arjun will be paired with an established actress in this film. The source adds, "A newcomer will not be launched opposite Arjun. He doesn't know who his co-star will be, but it's going to be an established heroine."
