I just don't get it. Sahir was grey but never black, he never hurt anyone intentionally, that was the beauty of his character, that was what made us fall in love with him, now its all gone, He has just become another character, not lead mind you, because the center stage has been taken up by Zaki now. We hardly see Sahir in the frame, its always Zaki with Arzoo, Zaki with Nausheen, Zaki giving bhashan to his brother, Zaki telling his mom, no matter what, he will only marry Arzoo. Earlier we would see a lot of SAAZ scenes now its only Zaki everywhere.
A story that was meant to be about two people Sahir and Arzoo, does not exist anymore. A story that was progressing beautifully has been bludgeoned and mutilated to the point that its original form no longer exists. Sahir the grey shaded hero has suddenly become a side character, he looks more and more like Rehman to me, rehman threatens him with the Cd and Sahir keeps forcing Zaki to marry Samaira. His sharp thinking, his poetry, his interaction with Arzoo are all a thing of the past and yeah Saiyara too, Sahir doesn't even go to the office anymore.
Its like Cvs are hell bent on foisting Zaki as the main lead and expect us to accept him somehow, well it ain't happening. A weak storyline, butchering of the main leads, showing Zaki in a i am an angel while my bro is a devil mode isn't going to endear us to him, sorry Cvs you have lost the plot real bad this time. I guess SAAZ nikaah aint happening either, the montage and the pics are there only to fool us so we keep watching while you continue to butcher Sahir and Arzoo's characters further.
This fake paternity test is seriously the last straw on the camel's back. What the heck were the Cvs thinking? How much more are you going to ridicule your main lead ? Is anyone going to believe Sahir when he flashes the fake paternity test ? He is just going to be left with an egg on his face with Arzoo hating him further for lying and Zaki will continue to look angelic while manipulating Arzoo to marry him. What was the need to do it? I mean cmon, the Zaki -Sam perg has been going on for more than a month now, Cvs could have thought of thousands ways of resolving it, rather than make Sahir look bad every time.
No wonder Arzoo has been also compromised. For her to turn towards Zaki, Sahir had to be made to look like a liar and a cheat who would break her heart by playing games with her. well we did get upset with Sahir for risking Arzoo's life but it still didn't make us like Zaki. Even today we feel the pain of Sahir, his loneliness drives us to tears, but Zaki's antics leave us completely untouched. Its sad that the FL has more sympathy for the side character than the main lead. Pretty skewed isn't it ?
I was so happy in the morning looking at Gorky's pics with sahir and arzoo in their wedding attire, but the spoilers have really left a bad taste in my mouth. Fake paternity report, Arzoo walking on the coals, agreeing to marry Sahir in despair, is that how low humsafars story has stooped to just to fit in one character? Someone had pointed out correctly that its no more humsafars, its now become Hum-suffers. If it continues like this, I am going to stop watching the show, its sad that another good show will bite the dust due to the lack of vision of the show makers.
