That's Udit alright. And as already pointed out by others, he was indeed born in Nepal. He had made quite a name for himself in Nepal as a singer before he made it big in India.

The female voice in the first song is his wife Deepa Narayan Jha (then Gahatraj). She is a relative of the music director of this and other Nepali movies, Ranjit Gajmer. I think that's how they met, while recording for these songs.

he is not udit in video.....he is nepali actor Bhuwan Kc...and the singer of the
song is udit

He is talking about the second song, where Bhuwan is singing a sad song and Trupti is sitting next to this guy, that guy sitting next to Trupti is Udit.
