The episode starts with Chakor requesting Tejaswini and Kamalnarayan to free Ishwar and she promises to not run away. She shows them her alphabets and what all she learnt because of Ishwar. That with education, she could have her mark removed from her wrist. Kamalnarayan is pissed off and spits on the writings. Chakor is shocked and says that dont you know...that this is knowledge and it must be respected at all costs. Kamalnarayan chides Chakor for all the nonsense Ishwar taught her. He asks her what is Ishwar. Chakor says he is God to me! Kamalnarayan says that you have one option, either you choose your education or your God Ishwar. Chakor is shocked at the deal.
Manohar is talking to Lakhan while Vivan and Ragini are carefully listening. They come to pick up a call but Manohar shoos them away saying that they can't be trusted. Scared kids run away. Aditya on the other side of the call says that they're not picking up. How will we come to know if Chakor is fine?
Chakor asks Kamalnarayan that he means her to make leave education? Bhaiyyaji says yes! And in lieu if that, we keep your God alive.
Education is not good for bonded labourers. We did not give this mark to you, you asked for this...in return for money. And it is your life. Chakor remembers Bhuwan telling her this.
Kasturi and Bhuwan talk to Abha. Abha says that Chakor has something that even rich people can't have. She has courage, strength and hope. I don't want Chakor to give away her courage for Ishwar. I hope Bhaiyyaji doesn't ask her feathers to free Ishwar.
Chakor recalls the time when she first wore a uniform. Or when she first had her race. Bhaiyyaji says that to free your God Ishwar from the jail, you need to abandon your studies. Its either your God Ishwar or your education. Chakor is stunned. She remember Ishwar telling her that education was the sole way through which she could remove the tag of bondage on her and her family. The only way she could remove the mark on her wrist. Then she remembers meeting Ishwar in prison telling her to not to do anything reckless. He'll be fine inside. She needs to break free and educate herself. She needn't abandon anything for his sake. Bhaiyyaji asks her what is her decision. Chakor says that for the sake of her mausaji, she will abandon studies. Bhaiyyaji is delighted and asks her to repeat her line. Chakor repeats the line softly. She says that Ishwar introduced her to education, and she cannot leave him alone. Bhaiyyaji laughs and asks Girja to bring water and bucket and clean all that Chakor scribbled on the walls. Girja brings water and asks Chakor to wipe clean the wall. Chakor sees her name scribbled and says that because of her, her God is in trouble. I can do this bit for him. She removes all her writings. She remembers learning her first letter and then her teacher teaching her to write her own name. Chakor says her dhak baba (Ishwar) is in trouble. Abandoning this is nothing in front of him.
She sees her name written and sighs. But finally wipes it off too.
Precap- Lakhan assembles all the bonded labourers of the village and says that today they will see Chakor, the girl who dared to run away. Chakor is brought in, her legs are tied with iron chains attached to a big iron ball. She is unable to walk. Kasturi watches from far.
