Suman thinks of suicide but doesn't do so…. She thinks of jumping but turns to not do so, but slips n falls into the water…

The sage checks some book n says to himself that this is the last day of her 22nd year n even today she will have to go through a lot and that is her fate.
Aadesh calls from police station n asks for suman so that he can wish her on her birthday. The phone is picked by the rajeev's fathers brother n then is given to Rajeev. Rajeev tells aadesh that suman has gone out of their lives forever… and he should not talk abt her.
Rajeev goes to his room n the family members wonder if he'll be alright, just then the servant comes in saying Rajeev is very angry n is throwing around all the stuff in his room….. family members go there n try to stop him… a doctor is called and he gives Rajeev a sedative.. so that he can sleep n rest for sometime… the doctor says that he should be take n care of… and someone should be with him all the time…

Chaitali is mourning for prem all alone… she gives his ashes to a pandit n asks him to put it in the ganga where he will soon be going…
Suman here wakes up n remembers her rape… and the suicide attempt.. her fall into the water….
She wakes up with a start n asks him y he saved him… he should have left her to die…
Then recollects all that has happened to her in the past year… while she tells him about everything n finally tells him abt the rape n prem's death… then the sage tells her that cause of the sexual interaction between them, prem completed the meaning of marriage n hence got killed. And all this is because of her horoscope's clich.
Chaitali calls an agent and books a ticket to go to her father's homwtown…. Thinks to herself that she'll never return once she goes there….
The sage tells suman that because of her horoscope clich… Rajeev also may get affected… suman thinks abt Rajeev and then tells that she is ready to do the vrat that has to be done…
The sage tells her that what she has to do is – stand in chest deep water all night n do a intense meditation to get rid of rajeev's risk…. Suman says she will do it as a repentation of what she has doen to Rajeev.
Suman gets ready in a white saree and goes to the lake… stands in the middle of the lake with chest deep water n starts praying…. While the sage chants standing at the shore…
Rajeev is sleeping when a snake comes n stands near his feet…. Keeps its hood open n waits for a while n then bites Rajeev in the leg…. He wakes up with a shriek n sees the snake n wonders…… epi ends on a shocked rajeev's face.

The sage tells suman that her continuing the vrat is not adviced as it is very difficult… she says that in the process to save Rajeev even if she loses her life she will not care.. and walks off while the sage keeps looking…..
