Hi All,

I watch JR on and off so I apologize if my observations seem off point.

I watched the show regularly when it started and I really enjoyed DD and Sid's interaction. It was actually quite refreshing to see a SIL trying to win over his arrogant, snobby, stubborn MIL.

DD's character from the start has been extremely high strung, very arrogant, class conscious - unemotional, practical borderline apathetic. She has worked hard to make it to where she is and believes that money is what keeps life going and in order to survive you need lots of it. Which is why she comes off as cold and apathetic to her daughter - she wants to make sure her daughter does not suffer in life. Both women have very different approaches to life - DD believes in money and Roshini believes in love. Upto this part I'm good.

Over the last week where Nani does the temple drama and they end up at "Sid's" chawl home and DD is forced to stay there and becomes fun loving DD - she's laughing and joking with everyone AND she makes snacks for the family - so not like DD or is it? Is this the real DD and CVs are trying to make her softer since she's been so snooty so far or is this Sid's magic - he's rubbing off on her?

I just found it so unlike DD to step into a chawl kitchen and make fried snacks for the whole family and she was nice to Pratima rather refused her help in a nice way with out saying anything mean.

Thoughts?

Ya, there has been a huge transformation in DD's character of late. Even I'm confused what CV's are upto. She can't become all goody goody so soon. Then Sid won't be having any job in the show. 😆

But what i think is this change is momentary. In the last part of the episode Roshni was scared of loosing everything the next day. I think this is what is going to happen exactly. After knowing of loosing jewellary due to Kesar's carelessness she would be back to her normal self and would be running behind money again.

As of now she is doing all the good things to win over Roshni and her love for Roshni resurfaces in between but is not consistent. So lets wait for a few weeks to see what DD turns out to be😊

Yes true DD behavior has change big time but remember in earlier episodes Nani and DD herself said she was once a good person it is only because of her love for money and working very hard to make it big in the business made her cold-hearted. But it is proven that when Roshni left home for good it showed a change in her behavior and it is understandable. ...she truly loves her and would do anything for her...After the Sid went missing again her daughter was in troubled and she showed her emotions again because she wants her daughter to be happy...Sod after Sid near death experience she is going a little lighter on him...shocking but still understandable...and biggest change we have scene so far is DD in the chawl yes.the.Cvs took a big risk by showing this side of DD all of the sudden but understandable because before wealth and money she was.this person and being back at this house and the situation that arises she tend to show her true self...Not to worries though her heartless side will be back when she find out about her jewelry

My opinion is, I think the softer side of DD is the real DD but circumstances which haven't been revealed to us as yet, changed her.

I'm thinking the reason she's like that is because of whatever happened between her and her husband. I'm thinking that maybe DD's husband probably left her for a middle-class woman and DD was forced to work hard in order to provide for a good life for her and the rest of the family.

first of all superb post...

n yes somewhere it pinches me dat y dd suddenly transformed into so good!? anyways being lil evil i dnt want dd rosh bonding so soon... bt otherside i want revealation too!!! so may b dis is build up of dat track...
