PK, BO Prediction: Will It Make 50 Cr The Highest Day Total Ever??

The most anticipated film of the year, Aamir Khan's latest PK is slated to release this Friday. PK has a good buzz and there are extremely high expectations from this film. With a massive screen count of 5200 screens in India and 600 screens in the overseas, the estimation for the opening collections is much higher.

Since PK is releasing on a normal Friday, the film may not fetch its best collection on day one. What with the advance bookings showing a good response, the opening day collections can be estimated at 35 crores followed by a good jump on Saturday taking its collections to 40 crores.

Since the film is coming from the makers of 3 Idiots, which had made a significant business for itself, their second outing PK is expected to go a notch higher and so Sunday may bring in the highest day total ever and the film has a chance to make 50 crores on Sunday itself, if the word of mouth is extremely positive. If the film performs according to these predictions, the film will complete 100 crores before 3 days itself and may even grab around 125 crores in India before 3 days which will be a new record.

With the Christmas holidays and vacation time, the film is expected to maintain collections between 18-20 crores in the week days and finish the first week collections with an entry into the 200 crore mark.

So far, films such as Dhoom 3 which released last December collected 37.75 crores on its third day with 3800 screens, also Krrish 3 collected 35.91 crores on its fourth day with a screen count of 4800 screens. This year's Happy New Year opened with 44.97 crores with a screen count of 4800 screens and thus PK with its 5200 screens is expected to break all records and may fetch the highest day total ever i.e 50 crores.

The advance booking are tremendous and in some areas 60-80% seats for the first three days are already gone.Same is the case internationally.

Where are those who were saying that it has no buzz and it will flop??🤣 It exploded with that first poster and then has been building up silently ever since. It has reached its pinnacle now.

PK will make 50cr on day 1 and 500cr lifetime.

if it does 200cr week 1 then lifetime would be 400cr 😃

It does have the potential to break Titanic and Avatar 2 billion usd records at the worldwide box-office.. Amen!
