Writing blogs doesn't mean I am JOBLESS!

I never knew anything about writing blogs so when I was asked to contribute speciality content on Bigg Boss for a leading website, I was pleasantly surprised. They said some very encouraging words and I decided to give it a shot. I had no clue about what, how or where to begin from, so I decided to sit back and think that how am I going to connect with, if not everyone, but a few people in the simplest way.

To my surprise when I wrote my first blog on Bigg Boss 8, I got very positive feedback as it wasn't revolving around A particular contestant. I've always made sure I write about those people who particularly stand out in that specific episode or probably in the week.

Be it good or bad, I have never feared of writing my mind and heart out. But at the same time, I have always kept it in mind to never go personal and always look at the contestants keeping the show in mind and their performances being shown to the outside world.

Sadly enough in an era where social media is a platform for people from various walks of life to connect...sometimes on different discussions and sometimes on same topics, some people use it for rather personal and gruesome attacks, which at times, go beyond limits.

I want people to understand that BIGG BOSS is a "reality entertainment show" where we see various people come under one roof and showcase themselves and their TRUE personalities.

What we don't realise is that some tend to remain true to themselves while others put on a mask to make the show more entertaining (that's what they think). Hence I make it a point not judge them as people but to "assess their behaviour" whilst they are locked up with each other in that controversial house.

I have written on almost all the contestants since my entry into the world of Blogging. But am truly hurt with responses of certain FANATICS who didn't take it in a sporting way... They seem to be using social platforms like Twitter in the pretext of doing PR in the form of abusive texts especially of one such controversial contestantGAUTAM GULATI.

This particular contestant has been both good and bad... I have praised him when he deserved it, and didn't shy away from condemning him when he is wrong.

And as a matter of fact, I have done that with other contestants too, including Puneet, Upen, Karishma, Ali, Dimpy, Renee. (Please do re-read all my blogs) But never once have I ever got such horrendous feedback from these above mentioned folks, their social media teams or admirers.

But Gautam fans, you have crossed all lines and let me tell you - it doesn't show your supposed hero in good light either. So wake up and smell the coffee!

I think it's time I make people realise that the pen can sometimes be mightier than the sword. If I wanted to stoop to levels such as these, I wouldn't be where I am today. Also yes I'm not an INDIAN "ABLA" NAARI who will take suchFILTH...

I'm a mature human being and I'm LITERATE and STRONG enough to put such people in their place! FILTH deserves to be TRASHED, hence people start throwing filth out of your lives... I DONT NEED IT & NOR DO YOU DESERVE IT!!! I rest my case!

Oh by the way, here are snapshots of some of the bashing I received on twitter after my blogs...

Poor Urvashi. She was just doing her job and writing as a viewer. I am glad she came out with this...she is fearless and doesn't bow down to nonsense. 👏

People just cross all limits to support their fav contestants. 👎🏼

Tfs.

i read an article about some girl who was getting abusive rape threats and offensive tweets from bunch of teens, and she tracked down their parents and forwarded them to the parents..

Would be nice if these "teens" get the same treatment..

I am a Gautam fan but this is just DISGUSTING. How can people stoop this low just to support their favrt? Their should be a limit to everything. Everyone has different opinions why can't people understand a simple thing? I feel most of these people are teens.

I wonder what new generation would be like?😕

When you criticise a most popular and liked person in social media you should have made yourself prepared to face the brunt of the consequence as well...what so shocking in this?...this is definitely how fans react when they hear ill about their favourites. .this is nothing new !. ..get used to it madam in case you are continuing with your 'impartial' blog...
And it is not fair to judge all the gautam fans and term them bad on the basis of a few tweets like these !

disgusting is the word.
it's ok to like or love a person like crazy but don't hate and abuse others if they don't like ur fav's.

everyone has different choices and these tweets which have been sent to urvashi actually reflects the kind of mentality these ppl have and yes they have no respect for women!!!

u don't like her blog or opinion say it we disagree why abuse and name calling🤢
