As offensive as this is , it is undeniably hilarious 🤣 🤣 .. it reminded me of something that i saw in one of the spoof movies , i think it was the Date Movie.. 🤣 🤣.. now substituting that memory with Madhuri.. 😲.. nooo.. 😆

Devdas belonged to Ash!! Aish overshadowed each and everyone in Devdas, she was THE BEST thing in the film. Her eyes spoke a million words. She looks like a goddess who descended from heaven.. and danced so wonderfully (wow!). Most of the critics abroad or in India couldn't stop raving about her(even the reviews which didn't like the film) She was especially outstanding in the last scene(ufff. those eyes)

Madhuri danced wonderfully, but her performance was so melodramatic and those cliched, cheesy 90's expressions was just annoying. Her acting was one of the weak links of the film. But dance wise she did complete justice..my favorite is kaahe chhed mohe.

On the topic : I dont think Karishma overshadowed Madhuri in DTPH & i havnt watched GG .. but i can say with some confidence that Aishwarya certainly overshadowed Madhuri in Devdas.. Madhuri lacked the sex-appeal in that film , she was looking quite old but only thing that got highlighted is Madhuri's dancing talent but then again the movie also featured Aishwarya in some of her best & most revered dance sequences..this film got Aishwarya tremendous amount of international recognition & put her on the international map.. so in some ways Aishwarya in this film , not only overshadowed Madhuri but also the male superstar of the film , in that, the buzz was entirely about her..

BTW , with the exception of Devdas & possibly GG ,in which other film Madhuri got overshadowed ?.. Mugda's topics are always quite intriguing to begin with.. 😆
