Anu, I was shocked seeing the promo of the new serial. I decided that no more I need to waste my 8-8-30 slot.

Regressive would be a small word to use as to what the new serial wants to communicate. We are not asking for morally abiding shows but sensible which further does not make peoples brains teda..

THough I have been catching up with the missed episodes last week, I am certainly not happy with sudden brahmi effect on Dev. Anyways as Shruthi mentioned, the upcoming show and EHT can never be compared. Atleast I hope the last two weeks make some sense. But I am enjoying Simone's acting thoroughly.

Anu- Unfortunately they think humor is in such dialogues where Mother comes free with father. Today the humor is so much slapstick and there is no good humor shows like nukkad, padosee, wagle ki duniya, dekh bhai dekh.

And from star plus what to expect they will continue with their saas bahu sagas only.

I agree with your post. The new show is ho-hum.

Yes Simone's acting is the biggest USP of this show. The only saving grace in this botched up end.

She nailed it in last episode.😉

You are so right!😕

Gone are the days of classy humour! The last time good humour was seen was in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. Now we're just going down.

Star Plus is bonkers! Had they not interfered then EHT story wouldn't have gone haywire. I wonder why producer went to this channel with a different concept!

I do not want to even comment on the new show! But yes I would like to ask... what makes a popular Tele serial on Star Plus and who decides that and on what Basis! I do not actually see anyone watching the so called popular shows!

They are saying that The Saas-Bahu routine finds takers but who wants to watch that! Even my Mom who is 70 plus watches ETH! The TRPs are all a sham!

The less said the better about Saathiya,,, and other serials as they have long lost their main plot and the essence!

I sincerely feel that all the shows should be given a limited extension and they can then finish it on tie- crisp and with the plot intact !That way they could start a new one with the same cast in the same slot! We wouldn't mind!

Coming to the plot! I feel it started well and fizzled out like all the other shows!

Missed opportunities...

Dev-Durga love story...

Akash-Shaurya angles( jealousy etc...Where Akash Arm twists Sakshi to accept him as her son...)

Rajnath- Dev Face off!

Payal and Shaurya Face off!

Block buster opportunity ignored is...

Durga being pursued by Dev as he knows she is Nitya but Durga( Nitya) getting angry and jealous of Dev...

Dev playing the game using Mathur as the key player etc...

If I can get so many ideas one can imagine...what the play write could do...

The whole story now is with loose ends but one thing I give credit to the writers to is the charectarization and also the realistic scenario as to how a spoilt son of a richie-rich couple is transformed from a rapist to a Criminal coz of their pampering!
