Ranveer is so damn over-rated as an actor, its hilarious.

He was bad in ram-leela, terrible in Kill Dill, atrocious in Gunday.

Forget other actors, he's never even the best part in his own films. Pari, Govinda, Sonakshi, Ali Zafar, Deepika have all blown him out of the water on different occasions.

Shahid for all his short-comings, is extremely talented and versatile and Kaminey is his best to date, He was deserving of a NA for his performance.

Ranveer stands no chance, even with VB as the director.

Shahid. I remember Anu, Sonakshi and Deepika more for their roles in their movies with Ranveer.

Shahid is the better actor...He is at par or close to Ranbir if acting skills r concerned...

I picked Ranveer because if you've seen Lootera its hard not to think he's a better actor for the amount of experience he has had compared to Shahid.

At the same time, Shahid is way more experienced and after HAIDER man he has proved himself. So yes Shahid is in a better place right now because again he has like six or seven more years of experience. But If I were to compare Shahid when he was six films old, nowhere close to Ranveer.

But shahid is the better dancer no doubt in that.

OT - both are good tbh. An year ago, I'd have said RANVEER but Shahid is no less. Cant say who could have done it better. Anyways, both are doing verrryy good in their own films, and that's what matters lol

I think both are at par right now, but Ranveer could be ahead with 10 years experience provided he gets over the 80s obsession. Shouldn't waste time on outdated subjects like Gunday and KD. He has that star quality which Shahid has lacked so far imo.

As for Shahid, he seems bored on screen in many films. Maybe its due to his own poor script choice. Kareena totally overshadowed him in JWM. People hardly talks about him regarding that film. Bebo walked away with all the plaudits. You still need make a mark while playing sudued characters. He does intense roles well and should have started using his talent more since Kaminey. Now again has that opportunity post Haider. Looks like he's choosing interesting films now.
