Guys I am not watching epi and reading WU only. Was appalled an IPS officer leaving high security data without passcode in the laptop. But leaving that aside the intention of making this post is about something I have been blabbering all along. Sandhya's punishment. I was waiting for the day she will be forced to choose between family and duty and she has to choose duty no matter what with the family not understanding why she is doing what she is doing. Because only then as an audience we will be able to understand what is the price of pushing small crimes under the carpet without questioning them.
If you ask me who is responsible for this fiasco I would say Sandhya herself and her misplaced Sanskaars. She didn't want to point finger at Bhabo for BCT fiasco calling it Bhabo is Maa she can do anything. No Bhabo cannot. Sandhya should have stood up and told what Bhabo did was wrong. She need not quarrel but she had to put her point across telling that deal was wrong and corrupt. It was a simple thing and inside family. If she had raised the voice in the proper way at that time her family would have understood what impact Bhabo's action has on the society as a whole. Indirectly she was placing the future of 39 other cadets at bay by that deal.
Now leave that then happened BS which concerned another family in the neighbourhood. What did Sandhya do. Meena did it because she loved Vikram. Never once told what Meena did is wrong.Never once told Meena needs to be arrested because what she did was a crime. Instead went on with the family for uniting Vik-Meena without Meena showing any proper repentance for the act she has done. Neither Sandhya nor RP thought about the feelings of Daisa's family because they want their family to be intact.
Sandhya didn't speak for the invisible people in BCT, a distraught family in BS but in Hijack the situation is real. She cannot demand her family. Many people are involved. If she ask for her family her duty as an IPS officer will be questioned. Media will cry fowl if Bhabo, Sooraj and Chaturi come out telling partiality to IPS officer family. People will throw stones at RP if their loved ones are killed just because they don't have an IPS officer at home. Not only that RP is in question even now as they have harboured 2 terrorists at their home.
So her pushing the crimes under the carpet has bought her to a point where she has no option but to choose her duty even keeping her family at risk. And the price she is alone. No one is understanding her. Because no one will understand. She never made them understand the importance of being part of the society. It was all about family, so they will think only about family. If she had spoken at right time with right words she might have had her family by her side in the hour of need.
But the doormat sanskaar she practiced is what that has backfired which has made her stand alone.
If the lesson you have to take from Sandhya it is that you don't gain anything by being a doormat. Sanskaar is not being subservient, true sanskaar is taking decisions when it matters most and speaking up for yourself when needed.
If you don't do that don't blame the fate, blame yourself for what is happening because you yourself has given right to others to walk all over you.
