Maybe I was the one who started watching the show with limited expectations , especially it being a SP show I would say I am somewhere neutral. Neither too happy neither too sad. But yes I had quite a few expectations from the show.
Especially the message justice is not for the rich, but poor and needy can reach it also by reopening that case.
Again I as a person wants Nithya to fight the battle. Nithya the real woman with real emotions, not a woman hiding behind a mask making her moves.
Because unless Nithya wins against Shaurya there is no inspiration. I mean it gives a meaning you cannot win in the direct battles against the rich and powerful.
When Malayalam movie Drishyam became hit the same question of ethics was raised. It was debated whether the method adopted by hero was right. Because whatever the hero does in the movie is because he feels his daughter will never get proper justice and her life will be destroyed as the concerned other party is powerful. So it was debated that the movie shows lack of faith in Indian Judicial system.
As we said it is a fact that there are many loopholes in the judicial system. But movies/shows upholding this message does not augur well for the society.
So if EHT is ending up without reopening of Payal rape case and judgement not delivered in court for me it is really a bad message.
I am willing to stand any bloopers as long as the message that comes out is right in the end. Good has to win over evil, but with a good message only.

@Rishi
I did not name him because he has ARMY of fans and trolls online. I am already harassed enough. So didn't want to invite trolls.😆

I agree with you. When the show had the best narrative and performances in first 3 months, then TRP was low! Now that it is blundering to insanity it is in top 10?😲

You are right. How long can we blame writers and makers if audience itself has vowed not to use brain!

Yes my bad for taking a show seriously. I did admit in previous post that maybe actors and few movies made me expect something from it. I guess it is best to not to expect a thing from SP.

Thanks for reply.😊

I had started watching with low expectations too. But initial quality of the show made me expect more. My bad.

I agree with you. I would have liked to see case reopened in court and justice being delivered by legal means. I myself have issues with films that uphold vigilante justice. Till a few years ago I used to cheer at heroes hanging villain themselves in court or shooting politicians in Parliament. Now I find it highly questionable.

Also Durga keeps burning pics of Nitya and says she was born to lose whereas Durga was born to win. That's wrong. A common woman like Nitya must also have confidence. Why should Nityas be labelled as losers?

This show does make it look as if respect, justice and all are only for the rich! That's not a fair message to give.

I'm moving slightly out of topic but really these trolls are completely jobless and waste their time in harassing others.
I was once sent a bashing PM by one such troll because I had criticized her favorite actress.
It was full of filthy demeaning words.

But I didn't respond. Instead forwarded the PM to the DT. Her WL was immediately increased.😆

Coming to EHT, I'm looking forward to Akash's return.
Although Akash is no replacement for Dayal, something is better than nothing.

Atleast Durga will have Akash to discuss her plans with. No need to consult Dev for that matter.😆

Lets see. I'm actually excited for the remaining 3 weeks. But not keeping my hopes too high.

Sorry but EHT forum mods barely took any action or timely action. Racist, personal etc all posts wafted here.

Akash roaming around openly without any disguise makes me want to shout at him for his carelessness.

I have hope from Dev only if he springs into action after knowing who killed his dad. Akash is too weak and listless and never shows seething rage of a guy whose dad was killed. I hope same is not with Dev!

Though I have also cut down on my hopes from this show not just after recent episodes but also the utterly smug tweets and interviews of writer and producer/director who are behaving as if they crafted a masterpiece!🤢
