A Sweet Punishment

"The soul is healed by being with children." - Fyodor Dostoyevsky
And we have our YHM back! I am not ecstatic just because we got a special moment between Raman and Ishita, I am overjoyed because we got all of YHM back to us. Everybody's character behaved within the parameters of their character sketch and we finally got Raman and Ruhi back in action! The entire episode was brilliant but I am going to focus on the moment between a child and her parents because that's what touched me the most.
Kahin Door Jab Din Dhal Jaye
Sanjh Ki Dulhan Badan Churaye, Chupke Se Aaye
Mere Khayalon Ke Aangan Mein
Koi Sapnon Ke Deep Jalaye
Kabhi Yun Hi Jab Hui Bojhal Saansen
Bhar Aai Baithe Baithe Jab Yoon Hi Aankhen
Kabhi Machal Ke Pyaar Se Chal Ke
Chhuye Koi Mujhe Par Nazar Na Aaye
Nazar na aaye..
What a beautiful moment between a family, a child wiping away her mother's tears while her father looks on in amazement at the maturity of his darling daughter. This family isn't an ordinary family, lineage or biological ties don't tie this family together, its tied together by the thread of love. That thread of love is Ruhi, she is the one tying this beautiful family together in weave of hopes and dreams. Ruhi becomes the ray of light when darkness falls on Ishra, she becomes their strength when they get tired of fighting the world and she becomes their dreams when sleep evades them. Ruhi is that fine silk thread of love that is weaving Raman and Ishita into a beautiful garment of lifetime companionship and togetherness. Ruhi is the soul while Raman and Ishita are the body of this tiny family.
Kahin To Yeh Dil Kabhi Mil Nahin Paate
Kahin Pe Nikal Aaye Janmon Ke Naate
Ghani Thi Uljhan Bairi Apna Man
Apna Hi Hoke Sahe Dard Paraye
Dil Jaane Mere Saare Bhed Ye Gehre
Ho gaye Kaise Mere Sapne Sunehre
Yeh Mere Sapne Yehi To Hain Apne
Mujhse Juda Na Hoge Inke Yeh Saaye
Kahin Door..
Within the past few weeks, we got to see various facets of relationships, some full of deceit, some young, some mature and some full of love. The fact remains that no one can fight destiny, what is meant to be is meant to be. Raman and Ishita are meant to be, no one can fight this not even Raman full of guilt and regret can deny the fact that he is meant to be with his JKR. Their bond is transcendental, it doesn't require words, with a mere look into each other's eyes they can write fables of love. She didn't have to tell him, one look into her eyes and he knew he had to console Amma, one look into his eyes and she knew he would take care of Mihika. The irony of love is that it oozes loyalty from every pore of your body while making your heart disloyal, it surely beats in your body but it pumps life in your beloved. Raman's heart beats for his JKR, and hers beats for him, two disloyal hearts coloring their family with hue of red happiness.
Love whilst making your heart disloyal makes a slave out of your very free mind. This mind no longer in one's control runs on an overdrive thinking about the beloved, weaving dreams, making plans and clothing naked desires. Puttar's mind is also a slave of the missus, so he thinks about her constantly, dreams of her happiness and desires her punishments of love. His mind and his heart are ready to commit a thousand mistakes if he is lucky to face the brunt of her lovely punishment. After all even a punishment from the hands of your beloved is a blessing.
Talk of sherbat, puttar, puttar alone, puttar again❤️ and his wink made me pen this down.
Maine unse kaha zara hole se iss sherbat ko pena
Dhere se pyar ke zayeka ka swad lena
Badi shiddit se isse banaya hai
Isme maine rishton ka rang dala haan
Aur wafa ki mithaas gholi hai
Yeh sunkar unhone mujhse kaha
Jaana is pyaar ki nashile jaam ko sherbat na kaho
Isme hamare rangeen rishte ka nasha hain
Aur hamari wafaon ka thanda meethapan
Zara mere hothon se apni pyaas bujhao
Iss nashile sherbat ko tum jaam banao.
Note: As always this isn't proof read so this has mistakes galore. And I just wrote what came to mind without thinking much about anything at all so it is very likely that his might not make sense. 😆
