Note:this is pureeelllyyy FICTIONAL,so that ask any qs.
It was Aliya&Harshad's engagement.
It was a grand event and both of them invited their family & friends to this event.
However one of Aliya's dearest friend who attended this event was Preetika,and things between Harshad&Preetika were...well,u will see.
Harshad was looking handsome as always in his black sherwani standing with her to be fiancee aliya who looked pretty in her pink lehenga.
Just then he saw Preetika entering the venue,looking ethereal as always in her black saree...he felt a lump in his throat.
Aliya couldnt help but grin watching her bestie who flew all over from NY to delhi just for this event.
Preetika approached the couple making her way through the crowd just when her eyes dropped on harshad.
He was as handsome as she saw him 2 years ago.she made it a point not to establish any kind of eye contact with him.
Aliya ran to preetika and hugged her tight.
A:tu aagyi...eeekkksss thank u so much.
P:teri engagement thi,aana to tha hi na.
A:chal,Harshad ke paas chalte hain..he will be happy to see u.
She dragged preetika along with her.
A:dekho Harshad,i told u she will come
H:oh...thanks for coming preetika.
P:Np,congratulations to both of u.
They both had so much to say,so much to share...but their situation didnt allow them.
After a while Harshad was searching for his sister while he heard preetika on phone with someone...some guy actually.
P:zain dont worry,i m always with u.we will do this.trust me,every thing will be okay,take care,bye.
Harshad's blood boiled with anger and he was jealous as hell,he thought preetika has moved on,how can she forget everything that happened,he had to ask her...he bloody wanted an answer.
She was about to leave when he held her wrist and pulled her towards him.Preetika was shocked by this action.
H:so,u hv moved on ..u hv moved on with this zain guy?
Preetika thought that it will be the best to lie to harshad at this point and show him that she had moved on.
P:yes,i hv moved on..n i m very happy.
H:so u dont remember anything that happened that night?between us!
P:yes i dont,i dont remember anything!
H: oh really then let's go and walk the memory lane down ,
With that he slammed his lips on her.his one hand on her bare waist pulling her closer and one holding her face tight First she resisted but later let her body flow with the moment of love and tranquillity she wrapped her arms around his neck and They both kissed eachother first slowly then passionately.. pree suddenly moved away and shocked harshad.
P:This is wrong,we shouldnt hv done this. This shouldn't have happened she moved towards the door but harsh was fast he locked the door and pinned her against the door.
H:u cant hide ur feelings now,its of no use.we always end up losing all the control" can't you see the attraction between us this isn't sexual but more than that.. this is love..neither this is a mistake,nor what happened that night was a mistake.
*flashback*
Harshad,preetika and aliya all were a part of the same college,preetika and aliya were besties and only preetika knew how aliya has a crush on harshad.
Harshad and preetika had a good relation but they werent friends friends.however he always felt something for her.
It was their college fest,all were dancing and drinking.. preetika came out for a while and was stunned to see the beauty of night, So serene so silent yet speaking thousand of words.it was magical. Harshad came out to receive his friend but when he saw preetika sitting on the bench near the lake sipping her drink, He moved towards her and sat on the bench besides her,both were enjoying the beauty of silence.. remembering their miseries .. preetika chuckled with tears And revealed in her drunken state how her father divorced her mother,and how she was just a little girl when he left them and married someone else.
Her story and her silent sobs melted his heart as he hugged her and she cried silently on his shoulder, she found comfort in his arms. He looked down at her mesmerizing hazel eyes and plump lips ,he felt a urge
inside him,he leaned down and kissed her first slowly and seeked for permission,he deepened the kiss as she allowed him, Both were kissing and suddenly he held her in his arms and took her to the room, Where they both made out though in their subconsciousness but actually with their hearts in love and soul in peace.
When they woke up and realized what they had done.he decided to confess his love just when she said that this was a mistake and that he should forget it.
After that she went to NY for her studies while he tried to "move on"and started dating aliya.
*flashback over*
P:let me go please,
H:no,i wont..i wont let u go again, I am in love with you .. from the time I saw you from the time we worked on project from the time we danced from the time we kissed...i love u..i love u.
Preetika was shocked as she saw tears in his eyes she wiped them off and hugged him..her gesture said all,no words were needed.
P:i love u too,from the time u helped me in math,from the time u saved me from slipping,from the time u consoled me and hugged me.i love u too.
Harshad couldnt help but smile.he broke the hug amd held her face.
H:then y didnt u ever tell me?
P:coz i was scared,that u will break my heart...that u will also leave me like dad left mom.
He kissed her forehead and said
H:ill never ever leave u,my heart is with u,and i need it to live.i promise to stand with u through thick and thin.and i promise that ill never let u cry again,Ms Preetika Rao,will u marry me?
Preetika smiled between her tears but frowned as realization hit her.
Noticing the change in his expressions he asked
H:what happened?
P:u r getting engaged.
H:yes,i will get engaged...but only to u,theres no point in hiding things now.we will tell everybody the truth...we can do this but only if u are with me.are u with me?
He held out his hand for her.she gave him her hand and said
P:yes,i m with u..ill always be with u.
With that they both left to reveal everything to aliya and their families,at first things got a little messed up but realizing how much they love eachother everyone included aliya agreed for HarshIka's marriage.and got them both engaged right away.
At last,true love prevailed.
